I think everything has gotten rather out of control. It seems the people who originally stopped me from posting here are the ones who wanted the new thread.
Obviously I don't care. We are all Greg Fans, but I think the beginning of the first Greg thread basically contains this new thread. But as is the case with many threads on BWW, certain topics cannot alone sustain a thread. This is the cause of threadjacking.
By the way Greg reacts on the cam, it seems he enjoys the off-topic discussions more.
As this still is a Greg Fan thread, if any person wishes (or wished) to return the discussion back to Greg, please do.
I know i the past when I wanted to exclaim I happy I was to see Greg on the Drat! CD I posted. Within 10 minutes Barb responded to it, as did some others I believe. Soon after that, we were e-mailing and she was helping me find Greg.
Yet at the same time, we could discuss something off topic.
It seems, however, there was some type of arguement I was completely oblivious, too. When I come back to this thread, I simply post what I want, and hope someone responds and we can start a new discussion.
And I am in no way saying this is Barb's fault at all, but I think the fact that it came to the point where we needed two threads takes a lot of the fun out of it. I post here for fun.
If you want to talk "Greg" post about it. Don't go running and complaining that you can't.
It is difficult to stay on topic for a while. Some time the off topic discussions give us a chance to take a break.
After all, this is the off-topic board.
Anyway, I originally left because of some people who began posting here and the sudden influx of .GIF animations.
One or two, that's fine. But having every post be one, that was craziness.
Of course I had a hand in the .GIF's too start. And these long avatars are also detering people.
Many of you post mainly in this Greg thread. It takes me a while to scroll through your one word posts because your avs are so long.
As I was once told, one picture per av only. Switch off evey week, every day, every hour. But please keep avs to one pic, or at the very least two small pics.
If you feel the need to have more pictures in your av, put them side by side horizontally. At least BWW will automatically resize it for you, keeping it short (all avs must less than a certain width).
Anyway, the point of this long post is simple. I don't think I will keep posting around these parts when we have to have two threads devoted to the same purpose - Greg.
And as Liz has said, if you have a problem, post it here. This is an ANONYMOUS PUBLIC MESSAGE BOARD.
I am upset to sign on to BWW this morning to find Barb had to go create a new thread because some of you could not deal.
I admit I left this thread, well, the first one, because it was difficult to follow. But I knew whenever I wanted to, I could come back and post about Greg.
And the beauty is that people WILL respond to posts about Greg and his talent.
Well, I am done.
