I don't know when Andrew's leaving...but we still won't get to see him on cam. That's what I meant.
HOW ARE YOU JAMIE?
Hopefully Andrew doesn't leave before I get to see the show again. That would really suck.
As the Von Trapp family moves over the mountains to the rousing chords of "Climb Every Mountain".... I wander off to bed.
Good night everybody.
I just popped over and looked at the slideshow. Thanks so much, Barb. It looks great!

Thanks, Mamie!
(btw, I missed grabbing some of the gift pics ... I could see them, but the browser must've been going nuts via the cache or something because I was saving what I was seeing, but what I was seeing wasn't what was being saved ... it was weird ... anyway ....)
As for Greg's last show ... it's July 23, 2006, that'll be a Sunday mat.
Barb xoxo
PS Good night, all! This ol' webmaster's petered ... lol

Ehm...good morning. I just couldn't stay awake (usually between cams I go to my room and watch tv --- lying on the carpet with a bunch of books under my head. Don't mock me it's comfortable for me!
So I started watching something on Travel channel and then...I woke up in 20 minutes...maybe I should have watched a more interesting program.
And of course I missed two gorgeous picture...and Kerrie was there???
I hate still being awake when you wake up...it just seems fundamentally wrong...

than I will edit it...it will be our secret. Don't tell anyone.
Okay Mamie, this post deserves its own then I may comment on something else.
The biggest part of my visit is to visit my bestestest friend in the world. First off, she's not seeing two shows w/ me in 3 days lol. But that's not even the point (and how dare call rent a waste of time, hrmph!)
See...it's...well before I even get to her, you gotta understand I was at GW for 6 weeks...I made 4 extremely close life-long friends...I rarely talk to them b/c they're two stressed but when we do talk we always say I love you at the end(I joke that I converted them to Judaism) and w/ all of them I share a very deep bond and connection, diff. from any friendships I've ever had(oh and one of them was my roomie btw
But Meera..I mean...we clicked right away, from the first week we'd start having really long discussions instead of doing our hw, and ya know she would tell me more than anyone else and...especially after me having my meltdown, she was the only one who had to see me in that state who as soon as I left called me and still ya know didn't need time to recover from me(another friend of mine, one of the 4 who didn't really see me in that state, called me everyday for 2 weeks to see how I was, god I love them all...) And now we're at a point where...think of a couple or husbands and wives or ya know ppl who share the deepest love possible...take out the "romance" and physical attraction and that's me and Meera. We actually call each other soulmates(the term does not have to mean one romantic lover if you think about it)...
So she obviously knows how important bway is to me...she's very excited to see Wicked well b/c I sang it and made her and others listen to it a lot but I keep telling her how amazing it is and Rent well...we've been trying to get her to NY to see that w/ me to no avail. We'd have these convos that would start w/ so this is my day and an hour later we'd be discussing the purpose of life. when she asked me this, I threw out "measure your life in love." She started thinking about how amazingly profound and true that is and we talked about it and I threw out more Rent themes and when I explained they all came from Rent we both knew she'd love it, so since she can't see the show, she's settling for the movie but it's just...she knows she has to see it w/ me. She can't see it any other way.
I dunno, I mean...if you think about a "soulmate" in a romantic context, someone that amazing would(well in my case better) want to understand and experience things I love and mean a lot to me and that's how it is w/ this, and we're so excited to get Wicked and Rent in 2 days(those were the 2 I talked about and listened to all the time) so...god you all have no idea how excited I am to see her, I haven't seen her since I stayed w/ her back in may for a couple of days.
So I'm sure Damn Yankees is amazing, but I couldn't possibly see it. And even though I will be seeing Rent movie for the 4th time, it's gonna be so special being able to see it and finally share the story and music w/ her.

I am ready...with the Christmas cleaning part 4....the last part.
And I hate cleaning...HATE IT.
Annie - when you're finished, would you mind coming here and cleaning my place? I think I hate it more!

This thread is getting to be a lot longer than the first one that was retired. I wonder why it's still here? It's taking forever to get to the last page.

One of my annual Christmas traditions is going to see the National Ballet in The Nutcracker Suite. Well, they went on strike day before yesterday and now the whole thing has been cancelled. In fact, because this is their big annual fundraiser, the rest of their season has been cancelled. I had to come up with something new for this Christmas so this afternoon I'm heading to the Kennedy Center to hear the National Symphony Orchestra do "The Messiah". (Gads - I hope it's not one of those sing-alongs!)

Ehm............
...no Mamie. I won't even tuck a scubber till spring...I swear. You should see my nails...BLACK. (I need some lemon to clean it because soap and water didn't help). It's so disgusting. But the flat looks great.
And we still need to bake for the holidays...probably on Friday...but that's fun.
Greg Thread numero uno got to an impressive 645 pages before it was nixed so we have a ways to go...
Or just 3 more of WRQ's posts should do it...
Yeah.. so.. we're not obsesive for having more than a thousand pages of Greg talk...
amanda-um...you don't have to wish you were a lesbian in order to be one, do you? haha
mamie-i love ballet. i'm sorry about the strike. but, the messiah is still a very, very awesome thing to see!
wow. a greg jbara love thread part 3 coming soon!? ALREADY!? haha
Don't worry Musical_Nerd you've only been here for about 10 of those 1,000 pages, so I think you're still in the clear...
