OY. GAVOLT.
Friggin frustrating day yesterday. Saw the Family Stone w/ the family, cute movie, but we were supposed to leave right after but my sister lost her cell phone so we had to spend an hour w/ her trying to find it(never did). Keep in mind I had to drive to WV as soon as we got home, so I was not happy.
We got home maybe at like 5, I left at 5:45. I sat in friggin Delaware for almost an hour--supposed to be 10 minutes...b/c of tolls!! Bumper to bumper traffic, I barely moved, then finally went through EZ Pass and no more traffic-ahh!
Then my friend gave me the wrong numbered highway and I went an hour out of my way. Got here at like 1:15 last night/this morning. Drive that took me 4 1/2 hours usually took 7 1/2 hours.
But...on the more positive, taking her to the Rent movie today and Wicked tour tonight and back to the WW2 memorial, my fav place in DC, so should be fun day!

lol. Thanks Dre. No it's a sipmle box - but now that you mentioned ...it really looks like the one in The more we dance number.
But, no it's not a music box. Although I can sing when I open it (but I think I would also mess up the words just like John does often)
Hi all--
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, and that all my fellow Jews continue to have a nice Chanukah.
10 more days until NY and DRS!!

I have seen on the 25th the Christmas Carol - The musical on Hallmark with Kelsey Grammer. I loved it so much so I asked my mom to let me order it from Amazon. Did you see it?
I havn't posted in a couple of days. That's not like me. It sounds like everyone's holiday was great. That's good to hear. Mine was a lot of fun. As a combined gift for my brother and I my parents put a pool table in the basement.
WoW, Annie that is a really beautiful box your dad made. I've never seen that movie, I'll have to looks for it next time it's on.
And must just say that I dominate at Harry Potter SceneIt.
i am dying to play Sceneit. I would be awesome at it.
Because I really liked Danny Kaye in "White Christmas," I rented "The Court Jester" with him in it. Hilarious! I recommend it to anyone wanting to laugh. His singing is great too.
hmmm, i just realized that I have a burn on the back of my hand. nothing bad, jsut red. hmm. lol. oh well. got to sleep soon. might be on later.
sorry Meg. THat was the fist thing that came into my head when I saw the box.
GO SEE THE PRODUCERS MOVIE!
btw (i posted this on the main board)
"anyways, to those who have seen piazza using studentix: i just got into a big problem. you see..
i bought a $20 ticket for saturday using studentix and, AFTER we bough the ticket online..i read that 30 minutes before the show, u go to the box office, show them ur ID, and membership number, and then...the bad part: it says that the person who owns the credit card that was used to be billed has to present the card at the box office. only thing is, we used my dad's card, and as you all know, the ppl seeing the show are my grandma and i, and, this SUCKS, because, if they strictly enforce that rule, my dad will have to come from NJ to NYC on a WEEKEND, just to show up at the theater, present his card, and then leave. it'll be completely pointless, not to mention such a hassel for my dad.
but, when we bought the tickets, under "your billing information," it had MY name, not my dad's. so...does that mean that *I* have to present the card, or my dad does? (since it's HIS credit card) "
oh, please help, people. cuz my dad's angry at me, and i REALLY dont want him to be.
Is there anyone you could call to find out? I think it will probably be all right if your dad lets you take his credit card with you to show them. (They probably won't even ask for it. Usually they only say that - about bringing the credit card - if there's a problem - like 2 people claiming the same ticket. You can show them the card to prove that you're the one who bought the tickets.
yeah, i could call the box office tomorrow, mamie. however, do you think calling the box office tomorrow would make matters better or worse? what i'm saying is, do you think that if i call them, they'll be all like, "sorry, kid. but your dad's gotta be here on saturday" or should i just wait till saturday, and be like, "oh. yeah. my dad's not here. i didn't know"
i dont know. gaaah
OMG! I DIDN'T KNOW THEY WERE MARRIED!
THAT'S SOOO COOOL!!! haha
Who's married?
Anyway, answering question as promised.
I'm pretty sure you're making a big deal out of nothing darling. Usually telecharge will give you the option of saying I won't be picking up box office tickets, so and so will. I'm sure if you called the box office that would be fine...
BUT
Moreover...though studentix is a little stricter about their student ID policies when I picked up my tickets, I had to show my student ID card and then I got the tickets. Quite often when I'm picking up tickets I just hafta give my last name. Even if they say, I very highly doubt the whole credit card thing would be asked for--they're not gonna not let you go in. My advice is don't worry about it, but call..studentix has a special phone number I think you can call, or e-mail them or something and explain the situation if you want to feel better, but I'm sure it won't be an issue.
Great seeing you too Mamie!
My credit card was checked when I picked up my student tix for piazza...
However if you have his credit card with you, and student id and what not, maybe it wouldn't be a problem....I would call and find out.
I'm sick. Its quite unpleasent, I rarely get sick and am now appreciating that more than I usually do.

thanks, amanda and cat! the only reason why i'm worried is cuz my dad's upset, that's all.
and amanda-jason gillman is married to angie, the girl currently playing ulla (blonde swedish girl-uma thurman plays her in the movie) in the Broadway version of The Producers. that picture was taken at the movie premiere.
aww, cat. i was sick not too long ago too. feel better! get LOTS of sleep! a sick person should NOT be awake at 2:37AM! silly girl. :P
Oh for some reason when I was here before, the pic wasn't coming up...but that's cute. I like Angie.
Hmm, okay, then I suggest calling the studentix number and explaining the situation, maybe your dad can come on the phone if necessary, again I don't think it will be a big issue.

no Mamie...because it's not his job but only a hobbi. And it takes so long to make it (my dad started doing it in September, he said).

Is that good or bad?
Broadway Legend Joined: 2/1/05

Greg will there be a show on Saturday??

Poor, Norbert. Hope he feels better soon.

BTW, speaking of Norbert, did I mention that my neighbor looks exactly like Norbert? Really it's so weird!!!!!!
Very few things can make you feel worse!
