re: The Official Greg Jbara Love Thread PART 2!!!!

Ryan: That is awesome! congrats with the Norbert thing. and he;s right, it really is great. has he confirmed it to be the official site now? or no? can't wait to see John's last show with you and Amanda.

Annie: wow have fun. have to wait for my mom to go off to work tonight so that my dad and I can wrap her gifts.

Yeah, it sucks that my mom has to work Christmas Eve. (she's an overnight critical care nurse.) but somebody has too. and it's more money than regular nights so that is cool too. Going to be a small family get together with just me, my parents and my grandfather since my grandma is in florida with one of my mom's brother's family. and all my other relatives live abroad. so, quiet christmas for us.

got to go. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!

Dre: I didn't ask. I really think he doesnt mind at all if I called the site offical but I have no need to do so at the moment. I like Norbert Leo Butz Online. It's as official as needed. Maybe I will ask him next time. I was just overjoyed when he professed his love for the site. A nice early present to Liz, Carole, and I.

Happy Holidays guys!

Aww I'm sorry Sarah. At least you're not like in a mass/synoguge choir right? re: The Official Greg Jbara Love Thread PART 2!!!!

Happy holidays everyone! I gotta get up at friggin 7:30 tomorrow to drive up to my sister. Ulgh. I'm used to only recently falling asleep at that time. Will be in and out all day though. Twas a lovely night, Phantom was on HBO so that was on the family room TV while I was on the computer and my mom and sis were also doing things and half-watching and my sister's cat loves TV and apparently her ears perked up when Gerry started singing Music of hte Night, and midway through she started purring. Cat has good taste re: The Official Greg Jbara Love Thread PART 2!!!!

On a more ontopic note, it seems like it's been...a weekish that Sherie's been sick and Laura's been in? Anyone know specifically? Just curious.

Merry Christmas!

Wow. My parents are insane: my sis and I got a Video-Dvd recorder + 200 dollars cash. I have the best parents in the world. My dad made me a box of wood with nice intarsia (I will show it, when I have Photoshop again)

Happy kwanza!
So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.~Office Space

re: The Official Greg Jbara Love Thread PART 2!!!!

Yes, lovely holidays.

And lovely Chanukah presents from the immediate family. My oldest sister got me a noise maker which I used to have, put on nice nature sounds and it's very relaxing to sleep to. Lost it/slightly broke it so I've been using a fan ever since, but now my room won't be so chilly, yaay!

And the even better ones...my mom I told her all my bway tickets are my Chanukah present, but she got me something small...a teddy bear that plays the clarinet!! I can't believe it. It plays some song that I never heard of, but still it was adorable, the notes on the clarinet light up.

And my middle sister got possibly the best...the sound of music 40th anniv. DVD which I knew someone was gonna get me but even better....a Gerry poster!!! Adorable, I never thought to ask for that, such a great Chanukah!

wow! awesome gifts! My biggest gift was a digital camera, which i needed since I have no camera at school at all. I didn't expect anything else from them, but then I got a few things for my car, like the light up triangle, maps, window washer fluid, and icer thingy. My mom is so worried that I will brake down or crash or something. and the funniest thing is that my mom signed them as "santa." and I'm 18! but i love them.

re: The Official Greg Jbara Love Thread PART 2!!!!

Hello everybody. I just wanted to wish you all a very happy holiday time (and a wonderful new year coming!).

Your holiday gifts sounds wonderful! I bet I can guess where Annie's $200 is going! Our holidays just aren't right unless we can all be together. I have a niece who lives in San Diego and who manages a store there. She couldn't get back here until after the store closed last night. So she flew in on a red eye early this morning and she's now happily sleeping away. Our Christmas will be held tomorrow morning - when we're all here and all awake!

In the meantime, I did open one of my gifts this morning. It was from my mom and I already knew what it was. It was a pack of 10 Jerry Lewis movies! (I knew what was in the package because I was with her when she bought it and she asked me to wrap it for her. Don't ask...) So today I am going blind watching Jerry and laughing till I make myself sick!

Have a wonderful holiday everyone - and I'll see you Tuesday evening Amanda!

Sounds like Santa has been kind to you!

I surprised my mother with an IPod Nano (the thing is SO small) and my cousin Jen with her very own Rent vocal selection book (she uses the notes in the book for her sax and I am learning the notes to play on the piano - I was going to get her DRS but she wanted Rent so much more and the DRS was delayed). As for me, 3 PS2 Rpgs, 1 gba rpg, and 1 psp rpg (I'm a guy who lives his digital toys -RPGs have been my hobby since 1991 - my other hobby besides theatre), plus tons of books to read. Surprisingly no Broadway stuff. I however have given out many a Norbert Leo Butz sampler CDs to friends and family.

Yes will see you Mamie!

And I left out one of the bestest gifts...my hula skirt from my sister's Hawaii trip! It's pretty green w/ a big yellow flower for my hair and a shell necklace...also a, uhh, top that doesn't quite cover what it's supposed to so I put the skirt over regular clothes. Also enclosed directions for how to hula! I'm practicing, very excited!

MERRY KWAANZA UKAH! or HAPPY HOLIDAYS! (which ever you prefer)

hope santa was good to you all. he was to me. he left me some jersey boys under my tree (aka tickets and the cd) as well as a new iPod (yeah i managed to break mine, we'll not talk about that)

SirLiir: your cousin sounds like me. i used to do that in high school when i played sax. i would buy the piano/vocal books and play the melody line. when is DRS sheet music coming out?

re: The Official Greg Jbara Love Thread PART 2!!!!

Not sure elphaba but I heard it was delayed. My cousin is amazing though so far with the music. She already has One Song Glory down. She is really into Rent (we are seeing the show Thursday night too). She in turn bought me The Last Five Years book so now I have a load of work to do to play that well on the piano. I can't wait! I want to show Norbert and Sherie my stuff!

annie: who knows?

oh guys, got a question that I also put on the off-topic board. (no idea why there and not the regular board). anyway, I just got cast recording (wolrd premiere) of Sherry!. Do any of you know if it is good (ie. the music/lyrics) I mean, Nathan Lane, and Carol Burnett and (even though I hate her) Bernadette Peters. I haven't heard it yet (will do in like a minute).

got to go like now. mom is like yelling at me. bye!

OY. GAVOLT.

Friggin frustrating day yesterday. Saw the Family Stone w/ the family, cute movie, but we were supposed to leave right after but my sister lost her cell phone so we had to spend an hour w/ her trying to find it(never did). Keep in mind I had to drive to WV as soon as we got home, so I was not happy.

We got home maybe at like 5, I left at 5:45. I sat in friggin Delaware for almost an hour--supposed to be 10 minutes...b/c of tolls!! Bumper to bumper traffic, I barely moved, then finally went through EZ Pass and no more traffic-ahh!

Then my friend gave me the wrong numbered highway and I went an hour out of my way. Got here at like 1:15 last night/this morning. Drive that took me 4 1/2 hours usually took 7 1/2 hours.

But...on the more positive, taking her to the Rent movie today and Wicked tour tonight and back to the WW2 memorial, my fav place in DC, so should be fun day!
