nope. I didn't even know that Norbert was out!
am i right it's hawiai 5-0 (a little before my time however)
I don't. I believe I'm the "youngin" of this thread. Actually, maybe BWW at large. I haven't met one person younger than me.
Yep. Hawaii Five-O ran for 12 years - from 1968 - 1980. It was a HUGELY popular cop show. The boss used to call his deputy "Danno". In each story the boss would catch the crook and then turn him over to his deputy to complete the arrest. He always said "Cuff 'em Danno" or "Book 'em Danno".
lol yey me fountain of useless trivia!
and i was right it was before my time (it ended four years before i was born!)

oh, thank you girls.
Hello all. How goes it? Hope everyone had a nice New Year's celebration. I only watched I Love The 80's for about 6 hours with my friends lol.
Well I'm fairly sure I was accepted at UW-Milwaukee...though I never got an official acceptance letter lol. They sent me my campus e-mail stuff in the mail though, so I think that means I'm in. One step closer to being a musical theater major (we'll see how that pans out).
who is that in the dressing room right now?
it ended four years before i was born
... and with that, I'm going to see if I can find my teeth and then get some Geritol for dinner.....
Congrats Janelle!
Hmm that's weird, usually he gives up some sort of update on who's in/who's out. Well, maybe she'll text me after.
And uhh, yeah, I don't know whether or not to call myself a youngin on this thread...I mean Mamie, Annie, Ryan, Cat and Traci are older than me...Dre, Kerrie, Liz, Gav, Ali, Jamie, etc. are younger than me...but either way, I uhh thought Cuff 'em Dano was in reference to daytime star Linda Dano...oopsy.
aw i'm sorry!
thought Cuff 'em Dano was in reference to daytime star Linda Dano
No - just another example of Greg's spelling prowess.... or maybe it's his typing?
Mamie - lol *pats you on the head* It's ok. People make me feel old at the "ripe old age" of 19. I did You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown one summer and the kids were all a year or two younger than me. Anywho, long story short they had never heard of the TV show Quantem Leap --- neither did the musical director. Yes, that made me feel old.

that was one of the dressers.
Or shall I say she was Dolly's understudy.
dolly is Greg's official dresser (and Jack too)
ah thanks, as a newbie to the cam i need to familarise myself with some people!
oh and on the subject of being old I feel old at university I took a year out and at nearly 22 i feel like everyone else there just arrived from high school!
Congratulations on the UW-Milwaukee news, Janelle. That's really fantastic.
As for old.... I work at the Smithsonian with dynosaur bones and ancient rock carvings and Egyptian mummies all around me and STILL there are times when I come to this board and I end up feeling like I should be one of the artifacts on a shelf in that museum!

Mamie please. lmao.
oh, I am passed 25 and I feel 14 sometimes (especially when I drop in here)
Oh wow you work at the Smithsonian? That's so cool. I love museums. I really like early 20th century culture like fashion, music, etc. There's a great section in the Milwaukee Public Musuem where they re-contructed the "streets of Old Milwaukee". Each house represents a different ethnic group that moved here.
Alright Annie, put it as the icon...what do you all think?
Greg's typing/spelling skills...rotfl...he really doesn't help my case, I always yell at ppl for spelling names wrong as it's so easy to avoid...and then he goes and spells Sara's last name wrong!
He copywrited 'face off'?
