Mary-ILOVETHEOBOE. I play flute, so, naturally, the oboe sits by the flues, and the person who plays it in our band is AMAZING. amazing as in...she got FIRST CHAIR in ALL STATE BAND for oboe AND french horn HER FRESHMAN YEAR. so, i don't know what an "average" oboe player sounds like, but, when i listen to her play, it makes me all..happy inside! hahaha

I emailed Greg asking about Norbert.

Jamie- Heehee, I'm glad you like oboe. Such a change from the cries of "oh no, here comes the dieing duck!" during band whenever I take my ob out. Actually, I named my oboe Bo. Not that I'm... weird... or anything. :) Fantastic oboe players are well... fantastic. I'm probably average, maybe a little advanced if you look at the other oboe players my age.

I was wondering if any of you guys here have myspace? I have lots of friends from bww, but I don't really know them like I know you. :)

Hi all--

Sorry to have missed the cam today. I just got back from a last minute trip to Florida to visit my grandmother. Unfortunately she's not doing very well. She's been declining for years, but now she's stopped eating, has gotten very thin...all the signs that the end is approaching. My whole family is sort of on a death watch now, and it's very sad. Also very stressful. We all seem to be on edge.

Adding to my bad mood is this news about Norbert. Exactly how long is "awhile"? My sis, the giant NLB fan, has been looking forward to this since the Tonys. She will be so disappointed if he's not in Friday. I kind of want to give her a heads up, but I think it might be better if I just let her find out when we get to the show.

Ugh. Sorry to be so down, but I don't think I could be in a worse mood.

Welcome to all the new people!

What a cure cam today was. We got a lot of ensemble. Always good.

So today was fun. I got to watch Michael Buble and Josh Groban together. Very cool. Then went shopping but didnt buy anything , then went to my friend Dereks dodgeball game. Very ammusing. Then went back to his house to watch The Wedding Crashers and some Nick GAS which consisted of Figure It Out with Steve from Blues Clues as a panalist.

Ryan, Jason's been in lately for Joe. Actually, I don't know if he's been in or back since he was hurt on stage. I really hope he's okay...aww, this makes me so torn. On the one hand, Norbert of course is...Norbert and it'll be my sister's first time seeing the show and I'd really like for her to see him...then I have bias towards Joe and I think he's great and would love to see him again...but then well if Jason's great I'm sure I'd love seeing him, though every once in a while there's a chance that someone isn't as good....grrr, too many Freddys!

Well...the bottom line is that I hope Norbert and Joe are okay/get better. But if both are out for physical reasons...that leaves just Jason...what if he's sick one of these days? Oh, and the BWWer I sent to DRS today looved it, I'm soo happy, she said she thought Jason was excellent so that's a good sign, as much as I love being a shill...like...Mamie when DD told you how much he loved it, doesn't it...make you feel really good? Like you told someone you hafta see this show b/c you love it so much and then they go and thank you profusely b/c they loved it, and...just makes me really happy.
