Hey all, how goes it? I think I may actually be here for a webcam for the first time in awhile. We're celebrating my nephew's birthday tomorrow (he's gonna be 2 on Monday) which should be fun.

Boo hiss I'm getting my wisdom teeth out Monday. I'm glad they're coming out cuz then my jaw will stop hurting, but I don't like getting dental work done :P

Oops, sorry Jamie, belated hi, though I doubt you're still up w/ me now. I was getting completely amused w/ the bareback mountain thread, took up a lot of time, finally finished catchin gup. So my earlier sleep thing isn't looking so good. Okay, if I leave this computer shortly and go watch Lost and then go to sleep...it won't be terrible. What are the odds I will be off here soon though?

Hi all--

I know I still owe the details of my trip to see DRS. Unfortunately I got back really really late Sunday night, and then found out Monday morning that my grandmother had passed away during the night. She's been deteriorating for a while, so in a way it's kind of a relief that it's over. But it's still sad that she's gone, and my house has been chaotic as we try to get all the arrangements taken care of.

I'll be in NYC for her funeral this weekend, so I won't be around at all. And I'll be headed back to NYC on Weds for an informational interview at the UNDP (trying to start a career in international development), so I'm not sure when I'll be around next. But I can't wait to catch up on the board and to read the reviews (and see pictures) of John's last show and Jonathan's first show.

I am logging off now but I just wanted to express my condolensces Liz. Losing your grandmother is tough. It's been just over four years for me and my goodness...three for my brother. How time sorrowfully passes. See everyone later for the cam!

BTW, a question for those of you who have seen the show multiple times. What are the few lines of dialogue leading up to Greg's line about the big pencil? My sister and I are being gigantic theater dorks and repeating our favorite parts of the show, and we're having a diagreement about that part. Feel free to PM me if you have the answer!

Lawrence wants to take Freddy up on his offer but Andre keeps telling him no. Then he says something to this effect,

"If its a roller coaster you want, I'd take you to the fair. They have these big pencils and...I don't know (cue Andre face)

That's pretty much it, except after he says to the fair, he says I'll even buy you a pencil. John kinda gives him a look, then he says they have these big pencils and I don't know.

Was that the part you were referring to or were you arguing about the My Fair Lady references that come before that? That's what real theater dorks would argue about (I say this proudly as someone who in fact owns a shirt that says "theater dork."

lol I love that big pencils line- espcially the 'I don't know' I keep saying that with a french accent... as if people didn't think I was strange enough!

Hopefully see everyone for the matinee cam, though I'm up to my neck in revison for an exam...ugh....

Aww, I'm sorry Liz.

I won't be here for the cam today. Friends are coming over in half an hour to begin our 'Harry Potter Day'. It's going to be a lot of fun but I'm really disappointed to be missing the cam. This of all ones, but hey, that's what the slideshow is for.
