I will post.
Raúl is a marvelous actor, his ability to put texture and emotional complexity into a character as simple as Caractus Potts amazed me. He was obviously able to enfuse every action and word with a great deal of purpose and drive.
His singing is spectacular, I have been moved listening to him in several of cast recordings and again the depth of character he can bring with his voice is fantastic.
Lithe limb, marvelous voice, actor definitely one of the best triple threat true Broadway stars we have working today. Now if he can just get a hit show!
I stand corrected, you are as vapid as they say.

Here Here...I think Chitty is good for him because he is OBVIOUSLY a happier actor plus it should run for at least awhile. Isn't it weird that the shallowest character he has ever played will probably the character he plays the longest? And THAT is a shame. But he can do no wrong, he even made potts deep....really? that deserves something...

I love Raúl. More than anything. He is my favorite performer of all time and my personal hero. And besides, he's drop dead gorgeous to boot.

Did that sound teeny-bopper?

It's amazing to see him so happy. After last Spring, he deserves it more than almost anybody I can think of. I really can't imagine having go through a play like The Normal Heart 8 times a week.

I love Raul too! But someone please explain how to do the accent!!

I've only heard him on cast recordings and interviews, but one day I shall see him in the flesh. I'm dying to see Chitty, not because of the show, but for our favorite Cuban! (Sorry Fidel...)

And he is h-o-t.
