You must listen to it. So unbelievable. hee. It's so funny looking at my eye in your avatar.
I know but any farther over and I start to cut me out too lol! I'll probobly change it soon because it's not very musical related but my fabulous computer shut itself off so I can't get to my pictures right now. Wow is it fun hanging out in the computer lab in my dorm at 2 in the morning! The picture is sort of Broadway related though because I think that was when we saw Aida together(the second time)

It's kind of sad that I can tell you what date that picture was taken on. heh.
lol...that's impressive or insane, it's just splitting hairs now...
My insanity is my most impressive quality?
No, that doesn't even cut it.

LOL I can't belive you seriously just know that off the top of your head...ooops we're gettin off topic! I love Raúl...there that's better!
mmm. Me and my detail-whoring. Dates included.
So. The Normal Heart? It's been almost a YEAR.
That makes me so incredibly sad. I mourned for it all over again when i was doing my stagecraft project and used it.
I actually used some of their staging technique in one of my theatre projects, too.
It's weird how much I still think about that night, a year later. Suppose that was the point.
It's not weird, I do it too. It was an incredible experience, one of the best theatre experiences I've ever had actually. There's nothing wrong with holding on to that.
Ok I'm off to bed...my last night at school! See you tomorrow!

I wish I had a chance to see him in Normal Heart. However, I did get to see him in Taboo..and that was a miracle. Still dont know how I did that...pure luck...considering I live in Ohio and had no plans or money to go to NY...so I was extremely happy seeing Taboo and I am not sure if I would trade if I had to pick one. But thats for MANY different reasons other than Esparza...including that I got to experience seeing my favorite artist (in several different areas) was a dream come true - Boy George... now I will get back to reading his new auto...
In fear of getting off topic with one of my midnight/early morning tangents, Esparza is too talented to get a Tony for Chitty. (Even though he probably wouldnt have won against Butz)He will get one...there is no doubt in that...just for the RIGHT project that shows the INCREDIBLE acting skills he has.
MyNameinLights has a new avatar! (I actually don't think I've ever seen that picture before - it's adorable.) I had to bring my Diva back for a bit - so non-committal!
I'm halfway ashamed to admit that The Normal Heart last May was really the first time I ever saw this guy in person. He was out with that vocal injury when Cara and I saw Taboo. (Speaking of which, I'm in the middle of Boy George's Take It Like a Man now, and I absolutely adore the way he describes Phillip; I can just picture Raúl flouncing around like that.) Completely unforgettable for a lot of reasons, and from the first second I saw him on that stage, I knew there wasn't anyone like him - an absolute whirlwind of talent.
As for the Tony, or lack thereof, I had been thinking about it a bit before the nominations came out. The name of the award/category is "best performance by a leading actor in a musical," and I guess that's where he got screwed. It's not "best actor." It has nothing to do with how much he's blown people away in the past, but only what he's doing right now, which is... well, I guess less than his absolute potential, unfortunately. I refuse to place all blame on him, because I like to make up excuses - I think most of it is the part.
Had The Normal Heart transferred, that would've been his Tony.
(Oh, and I see my Cara today!! hee.)
I just have to say the new thread title made me giggle.. "spread the love thread" I can just picture Em spreading the love with chocolate sauce or something..
while I'm here so that I dont entirely thread jack.. I love this man.. **melts**
Hey hey hey. Chocolate sauce isn't clean!
I said or something.. And I never claimed it was clean.. I was merely stating what came to mind..

I am not letting this thread die a slow silent death....

Of course they do! Even my gigantic southern country nephew loved him! Raul, we love you!
Saw him with my entire family in "Sunday..." at the Kennedy Center. Awesome! Haven't seen him in anything else, but as a fellow latino, I must spread the love.
woo hoo!

Raúl is a sexy man-beast with a hot navel.
Agree or disagree?
Edit - I forgot the accent!
