Hmm. In a way, a
very small way, I'm kinda (kinda!) glad that he won't win a Tony for Chitty. Only because when you look back over his career, he really should have a Tony for a better show, something more representative of his work. If he won one for Chitty, people looking back would assume that that was his best role, the peak of his career. When...it isn't. Know what I mean? Admittedly, I haven't seen the show...but c'mon, back me up, Emcee!
Edit - a nomination would be nice, though!
