That sounds good enough for me. My dad doesn't know that I'm going at all, so I think I'm gonna call my aunt and ask her to cover for me....say we went to see a movie or something.

Ah, the things I do to see that show! Updated On: 12/30/05 at 01:51 AM

Hmm...I'm parking downtown at Newsical but hafta go back uptown to get home...I'll be in the car but maybe I don't even know if Chitty would be out at the time, I'll quickly pull up in my car to say hello if I do see some of you before driving home KITTEN!!!!

Or, if everyone is gonna be around, anyone up for dinner or something before shows? I like food too much.

Heh, neither do mine. Then again, my parents don't even know how many times I've been to NYC in the first place, so whatever. I keep mentioning all these shows I've seen and I really hope they're not keeping track of the fact that it's impossible to see 8 shows in one weekend.

Funny you should say that, Em! That's how my parents found out about of few of mine! (but they didn't find them all!)

Alrighty everyone, I've gotta get to sleep at a normal hour this morning. Big day tomorrow.....trying to actually wake up before 1:30pm!

G'night!

Heh, I never felt a need to keep the ticket stub, just the playbill. If those were found, you could just say you grabbed all those playbills the one time you went KITTEN!!!!

Hmph. I'm still annoyed that I lost my last Chitty ticket. It was in the playbill I lost. Which was before I lost my scarf. KITTEN!!!!

I need to start pinning things to the front of my shirt like they made you do in kindergarten.

Haha Skittles.

the one ticket I've kept and kept w/ the playbill was Jan. 9th at Wicked for obvious reasons KITTEN!!!! I push pinned the ticket in so it's in but hangs out of the playbill.

i save all my stubs. well, i started saving them when I interned in NY, because it was so much fun to collect tickets that all said "comp" on them! lol. but i also like to remember the dates i went - i save all my playbills in those binders you can get (that's my grandmother trying to understand my passions.)

So, I saw the matinee today. God, I am so crazy. Anyway, it was great! I was able to exchange my front row ticket and move back to row E. Haha. I was more comfortable there.

Raul wasn't as perky as he has been for the past few days. Parts of the show seemed a bit phoned in by him. And other parts he was just silly. Julie Barnes was on as Truly and I think that threw him off. He and Julie Tolivar have been having SO much fun together for the past few days. So, maybe that was part of the reason. But I do love Julie Barnes! And I got a wave from Raul. Heee. Oh, and during "Posh" when he walks out on the ledge he noticed some people in the front row who looked bored and he said "Don't look so sad!"

Kevin was out. His understudy was SO scary! Ahh. But I miss Kevin.

Um. Someone passed out drunk in the lobby right as the show ended so there were a lot of cops and paramedics and things. Mean Usher saw me and gave me dirty looks. Hehe. Then after the show while I was talking with one of the child wranglers she walked up and butt in to our conversation and when she walked away John said "She's crazy!". It made me laugh.

Anywho, I feel like I'm typing up my life story for you guys. Why am I so chatty tonight?

I'm not seeing the show tonight but I will be at the stage door. Maybe I'll see some you of guys there. You'll have to come up to me, though. I'm not very observant. I probably won't recognize you on my own. :)

So who is playing Truly for closing?

Passed out drunk? They must've really hated it!

"At the opening night party, they had clowns on stilts, jugglers, a chocolate fountain, popcorn, hot dogs. [My son] looked at me like I had been holding back. Like, 'This is what you do?' I had to tell him, 'No, no, darling. Opening nights don't usually look like this.' It's usually a dark bar with a bottle of vodka." ?Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's Jan Maxwell plus i proudly share the title of the shortest member over the age of 10 with wickedrentq!

I have no idea! I hope it's Barnes. Although, most people seem to favor Tolivar. Both of them have gotten much better, though. So, I don't really mind.

I guess I hope it's Julie Tolivar for Raul's sake. He seems to have more fun with her.

Don't apologize g--I'm always made fun of for posting wayy too many details and stuff(nicknamed queen of the long posts) so I love when others are able to reach my level of...length KITTEN!!!!

Oh, drunks and paramedics, fun times. Reminds me of this great story I heard at DRS--between the matinee and the evening show, a homeless guy somehow just walked in and attempted to use the shower...got into a huge, huge fight w/ a hair guy, police had to come and escort him out. Sounded pretty amusing.

What time does Chitty end tonight? Newsical should end around 9:45, plus I wanna talk to John after...so maybe I'd get to the door in my car around...10:15/10:20ish?

I hope you all met up and had fun! As much as I wanted to come, I couldn't get home an hour later since I was actually AT Penn Station with a friend getting on her train 15 minutes before mine. She knew I wanted to go and so as she's leaving she goes, "Don't go see Raul!" (I'm proud she know his name now. KITTEN!!!!)

Well I hope you all had fun too, when I was almost where I needed to be--I had been feeling bad all day and it was getting worse--I had to turn around and come home, I just felt awful. Now I feel a little better.

So, I had a really awkward moment with Raul today. Haha.

I got to go backstage again tonight to say goodbye to everything. I took lots of pictures. It was fun.

We got invited to the closing party. The whole cast kept telling us to go but we ended up not going because we didn't want to show up by ourselves. We thought that would be awkward.

Tomorrow will be sad. Make sure you guys come say hi to me.

Night!
