Em, I totally believe you about Emma/her parents, but stage parents still make me laugh. I know way too many child actors, and if they're not more jaded than their adult counterparts, I don't know who is.

I love on the chatterbox when Seth is showing him the video of it and he's just like "THAT'S NOT THE CHOREOGRAPHY!!!!!!".

Heh, I had a morbid fascination with that thing on Bravo... Showbiz Moms and Dads,i think it was called?

lol, if you can call it choreography. I remember hearing Raul SHOUT from the back of the room, "what'd I do, grab my balls?" Seth was like ".... when did THAT become the blocking, Raul?"

Hee, the Chitty parents ran the full spectrum. Some were really nice. Others...wow. *coughJaclyncough*

I looooved Showbiz Moms & Dads. I posted on another message board that attracted one of the Nutter kids (who got banned) and the sister of Shane Klingon-Smith's mom (who actually had a good sense of humor about it). I saw the black girl in a movie recently and was surprised to recognize her. And that the little brat still has a career after that show.

The Chess rehearsal video is better than the performance I think - besides Raul's dancing and Adam (wife beater hotness/Old Navy sweatshirt), Norm Lewis is f-in hysterical --"I still can't hear..."

This is probably pretty stupid for me to post/ask about, but I read this on another forum and was wondering if there was any truth to it.

"Oh man, when the car broke down in Chitty, someone thought it would be a good idea to have Raul & some of the other cast members come out & talk/entertain the audience until it was fixed. NOT a good idea.

About 20 minutes into it, Raul started throwing out insults to the audience & then proceeded to fight with a guy in the mezz for 5 minutes. People actually started to Boo him, so he sang part of time warp, thinking that would somehow resolve things."

Anyone know?

I know that the part about them talking to the audience was true. I never heard about the other thing.
