Oh clever! Seeing the show in Cincinnati sounds like a good idea!
It's too much of a coincidence!

That's going to be such a fun trip!
"Raul, you look AMAZING as a crack addict."

I wonder if that is his only scene. He's so dirty!
I'm SO tired! I've been running around like crazy all day. I think i'm going to watch Sweeney with George Hearn and go to sleep!

Mmmm, Sweeney! It never gets old...
And Raul...dirty...and sweaty. That is just HOT.
Well, it's comforting that his character isn't like some nameless gunman. I mean, at least he has a name. We'll seeeeee...
I'll be up for a while; I slept late. Again. Oy.
'night!

I wonder if Raul could see himself with a career in films.
I remember an interview where he explicity said he doesn't want to do film or TV. I love that about him -- not one of those people who just goes "you can't make a living just doing theatre." He's making himself a star on stage.
Oh, pleasepleaseplease let Company transfer to Broadway! Before the Tonys. So Raul can win. Thanks.

LOL! I am really hoping it does. The Roundabout is due for another Sondheim show. But it can wait till after TPO closes!
ok, I know G went to bed...but if you read this when you get up...were you at DRS on Saturday? I could have sworn I saw you there.
Oh! And I FINALLY got backstage at a show!! (if you guys remember that I lamented I had never been backstage before.) Rent, of course...it was amahzing.
I am PRAYING that Company transfers. For the very selfish reason that I won't be able to make it to Cincin.
Yay kooks! I've stood in the doorway of backstage of Rent, that's as close as I've been :-/ But I got to see the wall, so that was cool.
There was a whole thread on the main board yesterday talking about Company and the possibility of a transfer, in case anyone is interested.

YAY, Kooks! I'm so happy for you! That really is awesome!
Ok, this is gonna sound crazy, but last Superbowl I explicitly remember one of the commercials being for Find Me Guilty. I was distracted by Diesel's hair, but I remember yelling out to my mom that I had seen Raul. And this was before I had heard he was gonna be in any movie. He was on the witness stand being yelled at by Vin Diesel. I swear I saw this, but I don't know how they could've had a preview for it a year ago. I'm feeling kinda confused, like I must be wrong but I swear I'm right.
It sounds totally possible.... on IMDB it lists the status as "Completed" as of January 2005, which makes it totally sensible that there'd have been a trailer. Maybe it was originally supposed to be realeased earlier and has just gotten pushed way back?
Anyway, that is REALLY COOL that you saw Raul in a trailer for it that long ago. I can't wait to see him in actual scenes.

Would a trailer be ready that early, though? He was filming in what...October, and the Superbowl is in...February? I know nothing about movies, but that does seem kind of fast. Unless his scenes were some of the very last to be filmed, which is also very possible.
I would like to know. *goes back to watch the trailer again* Either way, he looks damn good....
I remember it being about 30 seconds long and looking a lot more like a drama than it does in this trailer. I swear I'm not crazy. I hope...
*pat pat*
Noooo, you're not!
DId he look good?
Well, I'd hope the crack addict cleaned up for his court date.
I saw him the night before filming; he was scruffy and I was happy.

I wanna say I saw him that night, too. But I saw him so much around that time that it all sort of runs together. LOL!
Oooh, on a side note. Tuesday I am trecking over to The Hilton theatre for my Hairspray audition. When they told me the audition was going to be at the Hilton theatre rehearsal studio, I nearly died. She said "Do you know where the Hilton theatre is?" I said "I can assure you, I do!"
It was the night of the thing at the 92nd Street Y, so yes, you did! He said something to someone about having to wake up early to shoot a movie.

Ha ha! He probably never went to sleep. I know I wouldn't.
