I know this is like blasphemy in the current Company mode, but I put something together the other day and I'm going to share it.
I want to do it with other shows' marquees before they close, but this was just my first. I have the pictures for my Sweeney one, but I still need to get them developed.

I never got the chance to see Chitty, although in retrospect I wish I had. Raul is seriously so, so amazing in Company, though. I'm excited for you guys that haven't seen it yet!
Hello. I've lurked in this thread a bit, but I just thought I'd post to say that I'm very excited about Company. It's one of my favorite shows, and I haven't actually seen Raul in anything since Cabaret. I wish I had an AmEx card.
Hi! Welcome out of lurkdom. It's awesome that everyone's so excited about Company. And the stagedoor pictures would be very cool to see if you dig them up.
I can't seem to find my photo albums. We just moved, so I have no idea where anything is. They could still be in the storage bin. Hm. Anyhoo, I'll scan them if I come across them. I have ones from ttB too.
Heh. My mom was describing it to me over the phone, and she read that to me; she was like "there are those ice cube things with the letters in them... and then the top has an empty one and it says "Raul Esparza in..." and I just cut her off and went "OH MY GOD!"
I'm not sure exactly how it all works, but I think there's a technical difference between "top billing" (being the first name in the billing list, which he was for Chitty) and actually being above the title (which means you're kind of a big deal).
Hehe, I love Anchorman for bringing "I'm kind of a big deal" into the vernacular. I think it applies in this case, though... congrats to Raul. This is SO EXCITING!
I think Em's right about above-the-title billing. It's a big deal because it's in part assumed that the people are there to see those performers in addition to the show itself (which is why you can exchange tickets if they happen to be out).
