I love that article. I love when actors are incredibly candid about whatever's happening in their life a la Anthony Rapp.
Congrats, Raul!

Wow, just... wow. I mean, I knew, but, wow, in the TIMES! Congrats Raul, we love you! And, damn! What a way to do it! Did anyone else have to keep telling themselves that it was okay to read the article? That he said it and was okay with it being published? It was so very, very personal, I just felt so strange reading it, like a friend's diary or something.
Once again, congrats to Raul! People like him make this world a more open place, truly they do.

To those who don't have the actual paper: You can read it online.
Edit: I just saw that the link was posted on the Main Board. Oops. Eh, hehe.

Posted: 11/25/06 at 7:49pmAmazed and so glad for Raul. An airplane probably wasn't the best place to be reading the article because loud exclamations aren't well received. But yay for Raul.

Congratulations to Raul!
Also bumping because I saw "Company" today. Raul (as well as the rest of the cast) was AMAZING. He was really, really, fantastic. "Being Alive" was electric. Meet the 2007 Best Actor in a Musical Tony winner.

Yay, Company! I, for one, would love to hear more about the show. (Still toying with the idea of jokingly asking my parents for tickets for a birthday/Christmas gift, no matter that it would be totally impractical.)
I'm sorry - I just posted my opinions on the Times article in the "Raul, if you're reading this" thread. Maybe (hell, apparently) I'm in the minority on this, but I'd rather read about an actor's work/art rather than sexuality/relationships (of any orientation).

The Raul that ate New York? That made me giggle.
I like the picture.

oh wow, that interview is amazing.
Dear Raul,
TRUST me, you're nose is not too big, you are not scary looking (in fact, you're quite the opposite if I do say so myself), and in fact for the rest of the world it is really very much a PLEASURE to watch you act, both on stage and on screen. *g*
