I'm afraid to look at old posts, I probably sound the same, which is not a good sign .
Let's not talk about Company closing yet! It hasn't even opened!
I should be clear that I'm not like, speculating. Just... preparing. :) I think it'll do fine.

As if I needed any more guarantees that I'm going to accomplish absolutely nothing today...

And you all have such pretty avatar pictures, too!
I'm just popping in to say that I saw Company today. I really, really loved it. I saw it with my mom and my brother, and they both thought that it was great. While I was watching Raul sing Being Alive, I could only think of how amazingly fortunate I am to be able to see him in this role. I've read about so many great performances that I wish that I could have seen. I'm just so happy that I'm able to see a show like this.
Hi, Bohemian! I'm glad you liked it.

Raul in that costume still stirrs up the same reaction from me as it did several years ago when I saw him prance out on the stage in that outfit. God bless the costume designer of Taboo.
And woo for people liking Company. Raul is a force to be recconed with.
As is the production.
Chitty (the movie) was on TV tonight. Hee.
After dinner, my aunt served coffee, and when she went "there's cinnamon in the coffee!" I started cracking up.
"Sarah: There's cinnamon in the coffee, Robert... the odd taste is cinnamon. Sugar and cream?"

That good huh?
And I second that blessing of the Taboo costume designer(s).
Heh, not really. I just didn't wanna jack it for a conversation that just as well could've been on PM. :) Makes people feel left out.
Wooo, lemons.
I saw "Company" last night, and it was absolutely BREATHTAKING! I thought I was going to hate the actors as musicians concept, but once I realized the symbolic reason for it, I thought it was brilliant. Raul was incredible! I think he has a real shot at winning the Tony this year. Barbara Walsh was fabulous and succeeded completely in making the role her own. She WILL get a Tony-nomination.
And Raul's "Being Alive"... ELECTRIFYING! One of the best versions of the song... EVER!
I know you were curious, so yay!!
I'm scared to admit it, but I'm beginning to think I actually do believe that it's perfect. I have the tiniest, dumbest nitpicks with it but they're not even things that MATTER. I think the only thing holding me back from saying it is some sort of irrational fear of saying those words. I'm in love with it.
I hope everyone saw the Times.
Congratulations, you beautiful thing.
Yaaaay, Raul.
Good for him.
On a related note, every time an article comes along that shows how fascinating and unbelievably articulate he is, it makes me like him even more.
Good for him.
Leave it to Raul to come out in style, I guess. I still can't believe he did it in the TIMES.
