*scratches ear* God bless Raul Esparza. I am sick and tired of standing on a soap box defending him by saying he isn't a diva. People are going to think what they want to, anyways.
I don't think I could choose which one I like better, as they kind of go hand in hand. I absolutely adore TNH, so if I had to choose a favorite, that would be it. Although it isn't really fair becuase I was a fan of Raul's when I saw the play live. I had abolutely no idea what it was about, and I had absolutely no idea it would affect me in such a way. I was a small town girl who knew very little about AIDS. This play taught me more about life than 22 years had taught me. And since I only READ THE DESTINY OF ME, after I had witnessed Raul's 999 different emotion packed performance in TNH, it had a life pivoting effect.
Huh? Who said he was a diva?

Oh, sorry. I was just ranting. No one on the thread. Just people I've taken to see him in shows.
Oh, I thought you meant on the boards.
Well, they're just silly.
ohhhhh people. I think that people who call him a diva are clearly just jealous of his chest hair.
hi Chrys! I haven't seen you on the boards in FOREV. maybe because I haven't been around much myself! But hiiiiii!

Kooks, how have you been! Your post absolutely cracked me up. That has to be it! I've missed you! How is everything going this semester? Have you seen the new show that Colin is in yet?
kooks, I was wondering the same thing. About Colin's show, not the chest hair

Yay! Do let us know what you think! And you're GRADUATING! Congrats! That is so exciting!
I'm actually loving this semester so far, I just don't have as much time for BWW.
I love my classes this semester. It's so nice to finally be taking ALL classes that I like and nothing crappy just to fill a requirement. I'm taking five courses, but that means five regular class slots, plus one lab and two discussion sections. So with all of that time I spend in class (especially considering that on Tuesday and Thursdays I don't get done until 7) I'm worried about when I'll have time to do all the work FOR these classes. Right now it's okay, but what about when I start getting papers and stuff?
isn't life so much better when you're taking classes you ENJOY? granted, i LOVE my theatre classes, but this semester i decided to take a class purely for fun (which i've never done) and i'm taking floral art (aka flower arranging) it's pretty much AWESOME.
I'm gone for a week and I miss about 25 pages and the birth of a whole new thread. Sigh...
Ah well.
Look who's back!
YAY!
Everyone needs to stay back! *scolds* :-P
Aaaaang!
Everyone's returning! Yay!

Can't stay away from BWW...
This is pointless and random, but, a little earlier, when I was walking to class (which turned out to be cancelled, and I don't have another class till 1:30, so I'm back in my dorm with nothing to do), "Green Green Dress" popped into my head. I thought you guys would like to know that it made the long, uphill, slush-filled trudge much more enjoyable.
I think we're all climbing out of the depression brought on by Chitty's closing. Haha. Although I still haven't seen G around...is she still alive? G! Where are youuuuuu!
g is gboogie
I listened to all of Chitty the other night and reminisced.

Ang! I missed you! How are your classes going? And I hope you don't mind, but I quoted you on the "Can Michael Cerveris grow hair" thread!
Haha, quote away. My classes really, truly suck this semester. But, whatever. It's not like I wanted a social life or anything... Someone absolutely fantastic (orangeskittles) sent me the Kennedy Center window cards from Merrily and Sunday. I actually did a happy dance. I was alone at the time, but not even public embarrassment would have stopped the happy inside cascading forth in dance form. Thanks so much!!!

LOL! Don't you just LOVE the one for Sunday! I have a poscard size of them becuase I couldn't get the window cards home without messing them up. I just love the paintbrush and the colors so much. And is that Raul's ass in the Merrily one? I thought it might be, but I honestly have no idea.
I'm really sorry your classes suck! But I know what you mean about free time and socializing!
Well, the Merrily one is a drawing, but the guy on the right hand side is supposed to be him, no?
You're welcome ang! Glad you like them!
Em, I'm pretty sure Raul is the one in the middle on the Merrily poster. The hair is definitely his. It's like a painting someone did of a photograph, so it was made to look similar to the actors.
