First of all, it's frustrating, but it makes sense. These people are GOOD, but not irreplaceable. You make a decision to do the production, then you work on getting people to be in it.
Second, the newer press indicates that most of the cast (INCLUDING Raul) will very likely be staying with the show. It sounds like they have him.
I'm assuming part of this is at least a little contingent upon keeping him, since he's a huge part of why they got rave reviews. Plus, if he's really loving the show and working with Doyle as much as he says (not that I haven't heard him lie), I'd imagine he would say yes when asked.
