I figured that you'd probably already researched it, Em. I guess we'll see.
Have any more of you seen Find Me Guilty?

Eee. I'm going to be so broke in November. I want to go to first preview and opening night.
I love how I am already planning this out!
The only thing that is keeping me from throwing a party is the fact that his official website hasn't said a word about this yet. Maybe they are still waiting to here from him to see if he will transfer with it. Or maybe they are just slow...

I saw Find Me Guilty, but I already told you guys about it, lol. If it were still playing in the theater I saw it in I would be taking Spotlight to see it this weekend, but sadly it has already been replaced.
gboogie I am planning it too, lol. I wish I could go see it a billion times, but I'm planning on a trip in November (if it does indeed open then) to see that and one other show- whatever looks good, lol.
I think I'm just gonna wait til it's out on DVD.

It's definitly a renting movie. Although, seeing Raul on THAT big of a screen was a perk, lol.
I'm probably going to wait for the DVD, too.
Between Company, A Chorus Line and the Les Miserables limited engagement, it's going to be killing me not to live in New York next winter. I'm excited about having so many great shows opening on Broadway, though.

It's going to be killing me financially TO live in New York.
Next season is going to be amazing. I'm hoping to go to Company's first preview.

Company, A Chorus Line, Les Mis, Mary Poppins...
I better start saving now! Well, hopefully I can see Poppins for free. But for eveything else I'm going to have to fork it out.
Does anyone want to do me a favor? I was using the "Search inside the book" thing on Amazon for the libretto of C:ompany and just looking up various parts where it was difficult to hear what they were saying or I wanted to be reminded of, and, brilliantly, I searched for a few other things before searching for what I'd originally wanted to find. And, of course, there's a page limit, so I can't view anymore of the pages. Anyway, if anyone's like... bored or whatever, would you mind looking up the text of Robert's motel story? It'll probably be fun to read anyway.
Or, if not, that's fine. I may end up buying it anyway, since they didn't have it at the library.

I'll definitely try to help you out. Can you give me a link to the product and the exact text I should search for? I'm not familiar with Company, so I need exact instructions.
Does this work for you?
Link to page
Thanks! Umm... I suppose just search for "motel" and the first link is fine. You might have to go a page back to find the beginning of it.
Edit: No, it doesn't skittles. Sorry, I feel like this is getting to be quite a hassle!

Robert: It just... came to my mind. Anyway, we just connected, in such a beautiful way... exactly like tonight. Except we couldn't even contain ourselves. It was incredible. We were talking and suddenly we realized we just couldn't talk anymore. No sounds came. We stood looking at each other and we were both bathed in perspiration. Our breathing was so hsort and our legs were trembling and we just left. We drove to one of those strips there where they have all those motels, and we didn't even say anything. She just sat so close to me. So close. We got inside that room and we started touching and kissing and laughing and holding and suddenly she said I should go get lots of Champagne and some baby oil and we should get beautifully high and then rub... well, you know. She said she'd be in bed waiting for me.
(April is visibly being turned on by this story)
I rushed out of there and I drove around until I could find a liquor store and a drugstore open and I got all this Champange and the oil and finally I started back to the motel and - I - could not - find - it.
(April reacts)
I looked for over three hours. I never found it. And I never saw her again either.
April (her breathing heavy): Oh. That is the most extraordinary story I have ever heard.
(Robert helps her out of her jacket)

Do you want the following page, too?
No, that's great.. thanks for typing it out! That's really too nice of you.
Hmm... maybe there should be a spoiler warning?

Wait, that contains spoilers? Hah, I'm so clueless when it comes to Company.
No, it doesn't, but I suppose if someone hadn't seen the show they might want to avoid reading it. Then again, they did have a few messages worth of warning.
I love that scene. Especially the "and I could not find it" part. I have to go, but thanks again!

Oh. Whoops, a bit too late for me!
No problem, Ashley! Let me know if you need anything else.
Jumping in here from the sidelines...
I just bought Tick, Tick...BOOM! today and listened to it for the first time (*ducks*). I must say, I can't stop listening to it. Raul is just...gahhhhh. So I guess I'm a new Raul fan (although I have heard him in the Hair benefit concert and other various things).
Awesome! TTB is amazing, and Raul isn't so bad himself. Happy listening!
