Okay, the fact that there's a "Clear Form" button right next to "Post Message"? BAD IDEA.
Anyway, I liked this episode and thought that it felt very noir despite Keith being the acting Sheriff, but I did have a few questions about the final confrontation scene (SPOILERS). If Tim bugged Landry's phone and planted that evidence on Butando (sp?), why on earth would he let Veronica hear the message, which he undoubtedly must have remembered was from earlier that day, where Landry trashed him with Pepperdine? I guess you could argue that he couldn't have avoided it, but he doesn't seem to have underestimated her detective prowess until now, so you'd think he would have reacted somehow. Also, if he was framing Landry for the crime, why set up the fake alibi to get him out of jail when they had what was probably enough evidence to convict him? Ohh, maybe because he was bugging Veronica, too, and knew that Mindy had run off, which makes her look guilty and damages the case against Landry? I can't remember the exact string of events. So he faked the alibi knowing that Veronica would figure it out and that evidence would prove once and for all Landry's involvement in the crime. Clever, very clever. I kind of like that it takes me this long to work out the details of the crime.
I do feel badly for Landry, though...innocent of one crime, but driven to commit another because he thought Mindy was framing him. And Mindy, despite the odds, really was innocent and just out to prove that it wasn't suicide.
