Never posted here, just saying off the bat that I'm highly spoiler-free.
I loved Max in this episode. He is just so nerdy cute, and I felt so bad for him. Usually I'd find it annoying that we get so much focus on the MOTW when there should be more on the O'Dell case...but he really sold it for me. I hope he doesn't disappear or turn evil.
I unabashedly love Logan, but I wonder...does he know EVERYTHING that happened? Does he know what we find out in A Trip to the Dentist? I can't remember. Logan genuinely smiled with teeth twice in one ep. That has to be some kind of record.
That preview is so out of context. I refuse to believe that's what's going to happen.
i don't believe the promo. but then again, i guess it'll all be found out in due time. personally, the line at the end (i won't give anything away) sounded like it was edited from a longer sentence... like there was something said before it. i think it was taken out of context as a publicity stunt. that'd be so soap opera-ish if that did happen, and that would suck.
i must say, as much as logan is cool and all, i am a HUGE Piz fan. always have and always will be. i've been an advocate for a VM-Piz relationship the whole time.
oh, and it's totally in Logan's character. i had a feeling something like that would happen.

Okay, I'm calling bull**** on that promo. A big old bucket of bull****, with a steaming pile of horsecrap on the side. That wasn't "I'm pregnant"; it was "...I'm pregnant", with heaven knows what before it. And don't get me started on the melodramatic voiceover. "Tortured by the past"? Really? No, our Veronica doesn't do tortured. She has herself a good cry and then she goes for vengeance.
Anyway, on to the actual episode. It was good, despite the "hooker with a heart of gold" crap. Good twisty mystery, nice guest characters, nice Lamb mockery, and some movement on Dean O'Dell's murder. And it was outright weird when Madison showed up- I guess we really have left Neptune High behind.
i forgot madison even existed for a second there lol...
"Oh, and I loved that scene when Lamb is rocking out in his car and then Keith pulls up beside him in uniform and just waves.
Haha, Lamb is a loser"
Me too! That was amazing.
What ever happened to Wallace?
Bump!
I think I...didn't like that episode. At all. Which makes me sad. Usually even when the writers have an off episode, things bounce back the next week, so that's what I'm hoping for.
Can someone tell me what happened on last nights episode, because I missed it due to family stuff.?

I liked and disliked last night's episode.
Pro's:
Veronica listening to the minister was great
"Carson and Nancy Drew" reference was amazing
"Hester" was also a great reference.
Next week looks CRAZY.
Cons:
Bringing Madison out of nowhere was weird.
Kinda dragged a bit.
I don't really understand Veronica's reaction to Logan's sleeping with Madison, and it seems so out of character that it's "haunting" her the way it is. Also, Veronica implying that Madison got her raped? Not cool, not to mention a bizarre twist of the facts. The whole thing feels so contrived. Madison's a nasty, nasty person, but I still think that this utter hatred on Veronica's part is coming out of nowhere. The only thing I can think is that she's focusing the anger she should be feeling towards Logan on Madison instead, which seems to be pretty common practice for scorned ex-girlfriends.
I don't know if I can even summarize the episode without coloring it with my opinions, but, basically:
The MOTW focused on Bonnie, i.e. Tim Foyle's girlfriend who's been cheating on him with Dick and various other frat boys. She found out that she was pregnant and was really excited about it, but someone slipped her the morning-after pill to cause a miscarriage. Veronica sets out to investigate who did it... Dick or Tim, potential fathers?, her televangelist father or one of his associates?, Phyllis, the roommate and best friend? Veronica thinks it's Tim and gets into his office to check him out, coincidentally finding out that he's also investigating Dean O'Dell's murder, and she talks to one of his witnesses that she and Keith hadn't known about, finding out not much other than the time the witness heard the gunshot. Meanwhile, Keith's at work on the O'Dell case, and Mrs. O'Dell asks him to come over because someone has broken into her house, and he's closer and more competent than the police. The burgler is Mindy's ex-husband, the one that she and Cyrus kidnapped to get the bone marrow that their youngest son needed. We also see their troubled teenaged son, and Mindy mentions that they considered sending him to reform school. Keith also notices that there's eggshell under the windshield wipers of her car.
On the Bonnie mystery, there's a lot of running around. Veronica poses as a troubled pregnant teen to talk to Bonnie's father and goes to the Women's Clinic to find out who could've given Bonnie the pill. Someone from a religious organization follows her and puts pictures of her at the clinic along with spiritual brochures in her mailbox. Cue ensuing, "Is there something that you'd like to tell me?" Keith and Veronica conversation. He ends up helping her find out who took the pictures. In the end, Veronica decides that Tim did it, since she saw a bookmark from the clinic stalkers in a book that the roommate, Phyllis, told her that Tim had gotten for Bonnie. Bonnie corrects her and says that Phyllis actually gave her the book, and it's revealed that Phyllis did indeed do it, since "neither of the guys deserved to be the father of Bonnie's baby." I have to say, I'm really bad at guessing whodunnit, but I pegged Phyllis as the guilty one from the start.
Also, Veronica's mad at Logan, and really, really hates Madison. She has recurrent dreams of them sleeping together, and when she confronts Logan about it and he admits he lied, she leaves and tells him she's never getting over it. She finds Weevil and asks him to steal Madison's new car and have it crushed. He agrees, but when Bonnie's father lectures his daughter on the importance of forgiveness after it's revealed that her best friend is the one who terminated her pregnancy, Veronica hears it and has a change of heart about the car crushing. She asks Weevil to return the car, although maybe to leave a can of tuna in her air vent.

Thanks!
Sound a little funky, but the tuna bit is pretty funny. I kinda hate the CW for that crappy promo and for kinda pimping out VM to make it seem like one tree hill, or something. Sad, just sad.
Anyone know how many more episodes are left in this season?

Personally, I don't think that Veronica's hatred of Madison is all that unwarented. It's just strange when you think of all the people she's forgiven, especially Logan. Logan was every bit as mean to Veronica as Madison following Lilly's death. Madison may be the reason that Veronica drank the "basic rum, Coke, and roofie," but Logan is the reason that it was at the party in the first place.
The difference is that Logan has made an attempt to redeem himself to Veronica over the years and seems to be truly sorry for his treatment of her. Madison is just a stupid bitch, like she always was. I deeply want Veronica to drop the truth about Madison's origins, even though it would hurt Mac in the process. Mac is beyond awesome, but I'd love to see the look on Madison's face when she realizes that she should be a NASCAR loving, RV camping member of the lower classes. Beautiful.
PS--there are 8 episodes left this season and 3 episodes left in this arc. Then we get a huge hiatus and 5 stand alones that will finish up in May.
Last night's episode was pretty great.
I loved the scenes between Heather and Logan, it showed that Logan isn't a bad guy. And Heather requesting Nick Lachey for Veronica was so cute. And Dick pulling a Britney-Nicky Hilton was hysterical.
Veronica getting arrested was so crazy. I really think Mason did it, because honestly he had the motive and reason. Veronica putting the cookies in the book was great.
Also, nice to see Logan being Logan again at the end.
Next week looks so good.
This week's episode was drastically better than last. Hence my faith that even when the quality dips for an episode or so, the next week manages to bounce back. The episode was a lot better-paced than last week's, and I was surprised/disappointed when it seemed to go by so quickly (which is the way it should be).
It seems to really be getting better, more like it used to be.
I loved the "you don't want what's left of Logan..." bit.
Next week looks fab!

Heather- Who was that on the phone?
Logan- Just you're brother in law.
Hysterical.
Yeah, definitely some memorable dialogue this episode. Was I the only one who thought it was so sad (and a bit weird) when Logan said to Heather, "Yeah, why should you believe me? The other one didn't."

I didnt catch that, but the whole scene where he was telling her about how love to an eleven year old is different than what he was going through was great. Jason is freakin awesome.

Did anyone else laugh out loud when Nick Lachey started playing?! I thought that was amazing. It felt so genuine that an 11-year-old would think that that would be the song that demonstrates how much you love someone.
And that elevator scene was ten kinds of AWESOME. I also loved the argument between Dick and the soon-to-be-divorced Mrs. about her freakish toes. Hee.
This was a great episode.

Best comedy moment for me- Veronica's shirt fitting a pre-pubescent girl.

That was hysterical.
Calls to mind when she met Troy in season 1.
"Flat?"
"Just as God made me."
It really feels like the shows getting back on track. This was one of the best episodes this season.
The Dean thing is really heating up, I'm excited!

Yes, this episode was old-school and lovely. As much as I like Piz and Parker, they just don't fit into Veronica's noir universe the way Weevil does, or even Wallace. The show was veering into boring teen soap territory, but this is a turn in the right direction.

Agreed.
I miss Mac though.

Mac is Q and ocassional co-conspirator to Veronica- she fits in just fine. (Remember the episode with Butters? Brilliant.)
