At Sweeney Todd, I yelled out "I LOVE YOU MANO!!!" when the show was about to start. We were asked to leave.
That's a total lie, by the way. lol.
I wanted to yell out at Ars Nova. But I was in the front row (both times). And it's a really small venue. And...yeah. But I THOUGHT it really loudly. And I like to think he picked up on it.
I'm totally doing it at Joe's Pub, though. Cause there's a 2 drink minimum. And me+wine= yelling at Mano. (I'm not even kidding)

I may have already told this story, but on my birthday, we went to Ruby Foo's. And I was a little tipsy with wine (actually, I was drunk). So as we left, it was about the time Sweeney Todd was over, and the restaurant's close to the theater. So I was in the streets yelling "Loooook!! The Sweeney Todd theater!! MANO!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!! MAAAANOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"
And I wanted to go over to the stage door, and talk to him...and my friends wisely kept me from making a fool of myself.
I don't really remember all of this. My friends told me I was screaming Mano's name up 50th street.
So...yeah.
(For the record, I was also declaring my love for Patti Lupone. But the Mano bit is funnier)

It's not on the version that was broadcast on TV, thank God. A friend of mine taped the entire thing, since they butcher it for TV, so she has it.

I was also having a drunk imaginary argument with Mano at the restaurant, cause it was right after the whole "You hurt my feeling! No YOU hurt MY feelings" thing.

I do have other amusing Mano related stories. Some I'd rather not repeat, lol.
I love wine. I don't get drunk easily, but I hadn't eaten anything that day (cause I was eagerly awaiting the Ruby Foo's food that night) So I got drunk fast.
I'm REALLY hoping I don't get drunk at Joe's Pub. The drinks are expensive there, so I'll avoid that fate...
