Simply gravitating in that general direction usually does work.
My mom and I were walking down Broadway from 49th street once. The Palace is on 47th, and it was the summer of 2004. Do the math. We had some time to kill, so I ever so slowly started drifting across the street, around the corner, and then, oh look, we were at the stage door. Right on time.

My mom hates stagedooring. But she also gets very self conscious, cause she's not 100% fluent in English. And Mano intimidates her for some reason, lol.

Sounds like something I really need to listen to. I've been trying to play guitar until my fingers die, but that isn't giving me any kind of satisfaction: Emerson rejected me from their acting program. I got accepted into their school, but not the one program I needed to be in.
Why couldn't I have applied to New School and CMU? A friend got into CMU's acting program and that friend is a TERRIBLE actor. Apparantly, I'm pretty bad myself, so I could have had a shot. I guess that's where they send the baddies, to PA. But yeah, I need a crazy song. James Blunt's 'Rocyk Raccoon' just isn't doing it for me.

Not getting into the acting program you wanted isn't the end of the world, and you know it. Rejection is part of every actor's life.
I know there's nothing I can say to you to make you feel better. But you know I love you, and think the world of you. And Mano loves you too!! (hehe)

Oh, and Chica. Another cause of anger and frustration for me: I called up the Duplex to make reservations and they stressed on the phone that NO ONE under 21 is admitted. So I asked Lauren if she could get A and myself in. I'll let you know.

I guess if they don't card, I could get in. But I don't think A could. She tells me all the time, people think she looks like she's younger. I'm...frustrated.

You could DEFINITELY get in. And I think Ali looks older than what she really is...At least, in that pic where she's giving Mano the cookie? She looks older. Maybe not 21, though...
So, yeah...Mano. We're currently stressing out over the cryptic nature of the Mano mail some of us got. lol.

I just get cryptic messages from colleges. For which I'm very thankful. I'm glad they're so impersonal and nondescript, otherwise I'd feel like it's a personal attack.
I checked my library website to see if they have that Apparition song on any cd there, just because I'm really curious to listen to it now. Anyways, they don't have it. My library never has anything. They didn't even have Firefly!
