Heh, so it seems I've missed quite a lot in the Mano thread in the past couple of days. Quite an entertaining read to catch up on
I'll definitely be going to that Joe's Pub concert - yay for it being on a day during my finals week where I don't have an exam the next day!

Posted: 3/5/06 at 9:40pmI took Italian last semester, so I keep thinking "Fel-chi-ano." Isn't it "Fel-si-ano"?

Posted: 3/5/06 at 9:43pmI think mah-no sounds weird..so whenever I read his name I think mano, as in rhymes with piano. That's wrong though.

It's Fel-si-ah-no. It was Feliciano, but they lost an i.
We're sitting here saying "Mano" and to us, it sounds like "mono," the sickness. I think it's some fine distinction in the accentuation that we're... not getting. I mean, he won't care, I just wanna get it right. Instinctually, we say "Man-oh."
#1241The Land of Mano, where the violins roam freely
Posted: 3/5/06 at 9:45pmI say Mah-no, but I'm not really sure.

Posted: 3/5/06 at 9:58pmI'm assuming it's something like "man" with a British accent and then "o."

It's funny regardless of the typo. I have a really silly image in my head now.
