JulianneMoore is another who is never awarded when she should be. I just think she is brilliant. I think she should have won for Boogie Nights too. Played the role perfectly and brilliantly.

I actually thought Connelly was great in the film, and I can see why she won Supporting Actress. She's not in the first part of the movie at all. But once she enters the story, she's a major character. It's a large supporting role, but I still think it's supporting.

Not like Tatum O'Neil, who is in virtually every frame of Paper Moon. Or Dr. Haing S. Ngor in The Killing Fields. Both terrific performances, but neither one of them supporting, despite Oscars saying they were.

Count me as another who thinks Dennis Quaid should have won the supporting Oscar for Far From Heaven. I've seen it several times now, and it's such a shame he wasn't recognized for it.
