I think it's a testimonial to the "Gab Four" that they got Worst Ensemble AND a shared Worst Actress nod.

Aw, Dev Patel got nominated. He actually seemed like the only person who came out not so embarrassing in that movie. I would have given it to Aasif Mandvi since his acting made me laugh more than any of his correspondent bits on The Daily Show.

Cher was fabulous in "Burlesque." That's ridiculous. And- don't shoot me- "Eclipse" was the best of the three Twilight films.

Alba was great in The Killer Inside Me, im shcked they would put her down for that.

Elm Street should have got one for worst remake
Namo i love u but we get it already....you don't like Madonna

Oh yea, I forgot about Elm Street.

And I agree that Alba was pretty good in Killer.

I also think that R-Patz was pretty good in Remember Me. Well, not that good, but not deserving of a Razzie.

Many people thought Taylor Swift was a shoe-in for an award for her performance in "Valentine's Day." However, it wasn't really her fault that her performance was bad because she was playing a dumb blonde. Maybe the Razzies realized this too.

She was horrible. It had nothing to do with playing a dumb blonde.

Judy Holliday won an Oscar for playing one in Born Yesterday.

I think that her part was (mercifully) too small to be singled out.

Aww, I liked REMEMBER ME, and I thought Pattinson was adorable. Didn't much care for him before, but this movie endeared him to me and the first time I found him attractive.

LIkely because the Razzie nomination committee has more integrity than the HFPA? The Razzie nominations are out!

These awards are fun but they always pull shlt like this where they nominate big names like Cher & Streisand just for the hell of it to make themselves more visible. Cher was fabulous in BURLESQUE (as she ALWAYS is in her films) and Streisand was fine in FOCKERS. Nothing special, but certainly better than Swift.

The other nominations I actually agree with for the most part but that Supporting Actress catagory is crap and just mean.

I agree Jordan. I also do not like guilty by brand association. A talented director like David Slade, whose movie was given mixed to positive reviews, should not be there with M. Night Shyamalan's destruction of a beloved kids cartoon and whoever gave us The Bounty Hunter.

I also do not like just compiling the body of work for the year for the hell of it. We get it, you just want to nominate Pattinson and Lautner and other low-hanging fruit. Machete and The Killer Inside Me did not make me think Jessica Alba was the worst actress in Hollywood, or whatever. If anything she seemed passable.

That said, I wonder which of the nominees will actually show up a la Sandra Bullock last year.

A BIG snub was Carly Chaikin, who played Blaze in "The Last Song." I COULDN'T STAND her in that film! I wanted to go up to the screen and strangle her.

What the hell was THE KILLER INSIDE ME? I saw MACHETE and Alba was as I usually remember her: Looking great but stiff and beyond awkward. She's this generation's Raquel Welch.
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

Umm... Cher was amazing in Burlesque.

Whatever, the Razzies suck. They nominate big stars in flop films, not necessarily the worst performances. If they did, it'd be a whole different set of nominees.

"low-hanging fruit"

Tee Hee. :)
"If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn't help the poor, either we have to pretend that Jesus was just as selfish as we are, or we've got to acknowledge that He commanded us to love the poor and serve the needy without condition and then admit that we just don't want to do it." -Stephen Colbert
