That. Was. Amazing.
So great!
I love the guy at 1:20 who, when everyone else is freaking out, just quietly says "oh no".
And somewhere in the second half there was a woman who I swear meowed. Twice.
wow. I wonder if they only had young people in there because that could have caused a heart attack!

I cannot even begin to imagine how I would react. Because of all the adrenaline suddenly shooting through our bodies, I assume the "fight or flight" would kick in. I'd be the first one running out of there, Pissing myself.
My favorite reaction is the construction worker who is actually putting his hands up to try and stop the tables from moving.
I like to believe that I'd know it was a prank and that I'd start applauding and laughing wildly.
More than likely, I'd have SH*T my pants.

so you guys think thats real? theyre all actors. brilliant though
That was one of the best things I have seen on youtube in quite sometime. :)
Love her scream at the end. She should be playing Carrie.
Why does that construction guy have a pipe with him? Seems fake..
She's a great Carrie. That scream!

Finebydesign, I'm pretty sure it's ALL fake. i think it's intended as a commercial of sorts.
That scream is remarkable, isn't it, best12bars? I wonder if she had a little assist in that? I hope so. Just hearing it hurts my throat.
All I know is as good as those live effects are, it wouldn't make half the impact if that girl wasn't so convincing. She did a great job.
As for pranks like this, I always hate them. I don't find them funny or entertaining. It's not my kind of humor ever.
So I admire the talent and execution involved, but the idea? Not at all.
Pretty good!
ghostlight, I don't think it's all fake. Those extras are very naturalistic, if so.

The company that was hired by the studio producing "Carrie" is one of my clients. So I can confirm that the unsuspecting customers are very much real. Ghostlight is wrong.
Jay, 95% of the people you see in each of those shots are indeed extras. Only those who were chosen as "targets" or happened to walk in during the sequence of events are completely unaware of the prank.

I love the woman with the dog and the lady trying to shoot video as she backs out toward the door.
This is such a well produced, well executed idea. Kudos. Very entertaining. I LOLed so loud, my upstairs' neighbor's dogs are barking at me.
If they did this in some of the red states, I think she would have been shot...
But, good prank.

The defense would be the Stand Your Coffee Grounds law.
Ha, Namo.
In Mississippi she'd be burned as a witch.

So I'm only 5% wrong
"In Mississippi she'd be burned as a witch."
I think you meant Massachusetts, Reg. Mississippians are a'scairt of witches.
Well, the Massachusniks only ever hanged them. And I think they're over it anyway.

An interesting article on hysteria that resonates today.
