Series premiere tonight on Bravo.
Enjoy!
I'm already ready to puke. See my EWWWWW thread.
They bored me to tears. I stopped watching for now. Awful so far.
I really liked Mary until she got the alcohol talking rambling to Stacie and that hair stylist Mr. Gibson about 'integrating' hair salons. I doubt she's really like that, though I give Stacie credit for brushing it off, though she probably should see a screening of Chris Rock's Good Hair to realize why certain salons cater to the black community.
The Salahi woman (Lynda's right, she is a stick) and the English chick (though her husband/lover/whatever seems pretty cool) are already on my nerves.
Really too much Salahi. I really need to see more from the other ladies, even though Stacie and Lynda seem like the only self-made people.

Here's what I think (my opinions may change as the season continues):
1. Stacie- She's my favorite and I love her already! She's a great role model and sounds the most intelligent out of everyone.
2. Linda- I really like her. I also love that she's dating someone that's completely different from her and she seems real. She makes no apologies about not liking some people.
3. Cat- I already hate this bitch. I knew I wasn't going to like her after The View segment. She seems really shifty and I think she's making fun of Americans in a sly way.
4. Mary- She's all right. I'm mixed about her. I feel like she's smart, but she seems uppity and I think she pisses off her husband. It's like she's putting up this persona of a perfect marriage/perfect family, but it really isn't that way. I won't be surprise if she and her husband become the next Tamara and Simon.
5. Michaela- I'm really trying not to hate her and give her a chance, but it's clear that she & her husband are playing it up for the cameras. I won't be surprise if it comes out that they are in massive amounts of debt.
I can't seem the figure out the "matriach" in this bunch. OC has Vicki, NYC has Jill, ATL has Nene, and NJ has Caroline.

I was thinkng it may be Lynda too. I guess we'll see what happens.
Enough is enough! I can't take these HW shows anymore! I'm so proud of myself for not watching- especially after seeing them on The View. OK- I feel better now!
They're all boring as f*ck. I won't be watching on a regular basis.
I think it's too early to say whether they are boring or not. I'm only watching because I lived there my whole life and unfortunately I made out with the one guy when I was 25.
degrassifan, it has already been established that the Salahi's have accumulated massive amounts of debt.
I'm with Supportivemom, as I proudly won't be tuning into this garbage and supporting people such as the Salahi's.
Thankfully, Project Runway is on against it and I won't get sucked in.
Is it just me or do they need to subtitle Cat? Between the woman's accent, her deep voice and speaking like she has a spoonful of peanut butter in her mouth, I have no idea what she is saying. That and she is a total see you next tuesday, putting down everything.

It's not just you, Bettyboy72. I couldn't understand a word she said half the time.
Oh, and this franchise isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Apparently, there will be a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. I think that's kind of ridiculous, but whatever.
It's too early to tell whether it will be boring or not, but Jersey can be boring at times.
I am sure they will run the franchise into the ground. I still prefer OC and NYC the most. Jersey is pretty boring most of the time.
I want them to do a version with white trash women. I think that would invigorate the franchise. Like one that takes place in a trailer park.
The women in the opening would says things like:
"This is MY bowling alley!"
"I date my son's high school friends and I LOVE it!"
"Food stamps are for losers! I shoplift!"
"People think Im a tranny and I don't care!"
"I rule this trailer park!"
HAHAHAHAHA! That would be awesome, Bettyboy!
