This week our receptionist is out again. I don't think it's a coincidence she's out at the same time that Elaine Stritch is preparing to open her show again. If our receptionist is not Stritch, then she's at least Stritch's stand-in.
Today's receptionist looks like she just got off the bus from Hooterville. She's wearing a thin cotton dress and flip flops. I bet she was an extra in The Bridges of Madison County and came to the city to pursue acting.

My receptionist is a 40-something year old man who bears a striking resemblance to Bacala from The Sopranos.
He's actually a pretty cool guy - it's really funny when people come in and ask him to direct them to reception and he's like "You're looking at it!"
Technically he is the "office manager" but the old receptionist quit about six months ago, so he's been doing double duty.
