everyone has their own traditions. my mom uses a cheese grater and grates potatos and onions. its about 10:1 though, not a lot of onions. theres also one or two eggs to hold it all together. then she gets out her old electric fryer, and cooks them in massive amounts of oil. then we eat them nice and hot, and they're AMAZING.

My great-grandma makes the BEST homeade applesauce. What do your families cook well? I am so taking my mom's broccli-cheese-noodle soup recipe to college. I can live on that stuff.

my nana makes great apple sauce too. and cole-slaw. and chocolate cupcakes. and banana chocolate chip muffins. and matzo-ball soup. OH AND POTATO KUGEL! ahh i live for that stuff.

my nana is a really good cook. haha

My ex turned me onto matza and matza ball soup. It was the only positive things he brought to my life! *drool* I'd love to try latkes. Anything that involves the words "potato" "onions" "apple sauce" CAN'T be bad.

I LOVE to cook - (and so does Mr. Browne - YUMM YUMM)

Learned most of what I know from my Dad and my great Aunt Nicey (both deceased... ) but their art lives on in me...

cook pretty much anything (and have made a few latkes and motzahs in my day)

I guess my specialty would be bread and pastries....

haha i'm just making everyone hungry.

matzo ball soup is chicken broth, egg noodles (they're made like crepes, but out of eggs, then cut up), and matzo balls (i'm not exactly sure how these are made... maybe ground matzo, egg, water, and salt? i think...)

i live on matzo ball soup when i'm sick... this isn't just strictly for it's holiday (passover)

i get sick of matzoh. cause its all i eat during passover, i can deal without it all year. i use it for everything... matzoh pizza, grilled cheese, PB&J, etc...
