correction noted...
and you'll note I never bothered....
got to be one anyway
and to be part of a University paper on Law in the Media...
I'd post a copy but it's in DEEEEEEPPPPP storage (thousands of miles from here..) pretty proud of it though...
If I get my way - I'll land a nice recurring DA role and that's more than enough lawyering for me
haha erinrebecca - i'd totally be with you there (or a film major) if not for the fact that my "traditional Asian parents" nearly hanged themselves when I suggested getting a B.F.A. A B.A. in Criminology was our only compromise, and even now, I'm introduced at family dinners as being "pre-law".

You got the best of both worlds, Fredi, by playing one on tv. :)

i can dig it...
my ENTIRE FAMILY are educators.... I've run from it all my life..
of course, it caught up with me..
what does my hubby say - "day will run until night catch 'em"
(love those Bajan phrasologies of his!)
Nice, Fredi! I just finished a term paper on Monday on:
"Reel"-ality or Myth: The Portrayal of Women Lawyers in the Media
If I can't ace a paper on law shows and pop culture, what CAN I do properly?? (I'd love to read your essay if you ever come across it! I think I've read every other essay on the subject that's been written!)

hey tiff..
It wasn't my essay - I was interviewed by an adjunct professor working on his thesis... and he quoted me extensively - it was very cool..
when I go home (when?) I'll dig it out...

Well, tiff and fredi, it's been nice chatting with you but I'm off to bed. I entertained a bunch of young cousins most of the day and I'm beat. Goodnight to you! :)

Good night!
I'll be sure to post it in tomorrow or the day after, once I'm on my normal comp. (I'm on the laptop right now.) Remind me tmrw okay?
Thank you for coming, Fredi! Those 15800+ views aren't from people eager to read what the rest of us have to yammer on about!
We're glad to provide the entertainment hehe! Exactly what Tiff said.
awww! *nods*
Thanks for "hanging out" with us!

It's fun talking to you, Fredi. And this site is addictive in general, there's quite a few of us who pretty much live here.

Hey everyone!,
Still trying to catch up with everything. Takes forever and a day. I actually should be in bed(the clock on my computer is wrong). Dad nagging me to go to bed early(the usual). Anyway...while still not entirely caught up and talking about something from awhile ago.
I mostly act in my school productions. I do sing, but have been kind of chicken to try out for the musicals every year. But for the last while I'd been directing a play which was so much fun. I hope to be able to continue acting and directing in the next few years.
Racetrack.
Whatchoo talkin' 'bout, willis? *raising defensive hand*
And I appreciate that this thread, even without threadjacking, isn't just an interview between you and us. We all get to chat casually and shoot the breeze about whatever we want. That's sort of nice. (AND we don't need to pay you for your words of wisdom!--yet)
I agree, Tiff. I didn't like Anthony's thread because I felt like he wasn't able to chat like a normal person. This one is more relaxed somehow.

Exactly. I feel like we're interrogating Anthony. We don't want to tourture the poor guy, just chitchat. This feels a lot more relaxed and natural.
