' We all get to chat casually and shoot the breeze about whatever we want. That's sort of nice.

hopefully it will stay that way even when anthony is back re: The Rent Welcome Wagon

'(AND we don't need to pay you for your words of wisdom!--yet)'

hehe...yet...

Here in this cold white room tied up to these machines, it's hard to imagine life as it used to be. Laughing, screaming, tumbling queen... Like the most amazing light show you've ever seen. Whirling, swirling, never blue... How could you go and die? What a selfish thing to do... RIP Jason

Yeah well trying to keep up. I directed a play called Desire, Desire, Desire by Christopher Durang. It's a parody of so many Tennessee Williams plays. My co-director and I cast a freshman as our lead. We had an amazing cast.

I've never heard of that one, Racetrack. I love Durang's stuff - I'll definitely pick it up next time I'm at the bookstore. Where did it run?

well, part of the reason, for me, for not being so relaxed on the Anthony Thread is that I've been a fan of his for such a long time (literally since elementry school with YAGMCB) that I was a little intimadated by how to act.
Isn't it so strange how our culture makes such a huge deal out of celebrities. Like they're g-ds or something. And isn't it sad that I know this myself and still have a hard time shaking it off?
I dunno, now I'm threadjacking

Yeah I love Durang. I also like Ives. My friend and I are hoping to direct Titanic, but that's only if our teacher will let us get away with it. Somewhat doubtful. It was a one performance deal. Kind of a contest at school because there were altogether 11 plays and there are judges that say stuff about the pieces and they run for a week. At the end of the week three plays are chosen and performed again in the evening on Friday. Sadly our play(which was the best comedy and the hardest script) didn't make it to the final three(god that sounds like survivor talk)

bwaystar2b, you're right. Although it's not just limited to people who are famous. I know I get more wobbly kneed around my forensics professor than I do around a lot of celebrities

<--- Hugh, notwithstanding re: The Rent Welcome Wagon

It comes down to how much you admire someone, I think.

Not that we don't admire Fredi. (Wow, my foot sure is tasty!)

I am a huge fan of Mrs.Browne and the only reason I could go see The Lion King when it was in FL was because of a family emergency re: The Rent Welcome Wagon

Well thanks. I wasn't fishing for compliments, but that's nice of you. re: The Rent Welcome Wagon

I think people also freaked out more about Anthony because he made a bigger deal of it- well, that might not be the right term. I guess his first post and the thread that followed just made a splash. Updated On: 11/27/04 at 01:21 AM

The dicussion was WAY more heated when Anthony showed up. A lot of us were pretty riled up to begin with.
