So, here I am after seeing POTO twice today.

Can I just say... WOW!? I lovelovelovelovelove that movie. Absolutely adored it. Of course, I've never seen the stage production, so this was my way of "getting into" the Phantom world. Personally, I thought Gerard, Emmy and Patrick all did AMAZING jobs... my favorite scenes were "All I Ask Of You" (yeah, I'm a total R/C fan and that scene made me melt in my seat) and "Down Once More/Track Down This Murder" aka Final Lair.

But it has become blatantly obvious to me that this really is a love it or hate it movie. A friend of mine who went into it expecting to love it came out hating it. Go fig, eh?

ask beka about doing gymnastics on inflammed muscles (or having "water" collecting on your joints...)

^^ughh, YES! ALL THE TIME! specific memories, one meet when it seemed like everyone was injured (i strained a ligament in my knee), i was the LEAST injured. so i still had to compete. lets just say i got my record worst score.

do singers have problems with their voice after not singing for a couple of days? today, i hadn't stretched since thursday, and i couldn't get my split...

yes beka - singers vocal muscles do get "cold" like any other muscle... (mine won't cool off after a couple of days.. but give it a couple of weeks.....)

for example during an 8 show week - i'll need the most warm-up after the day off - but almost none by the last show of the week (especially when doing a 5 show weekend... the shows are so close together...)
