I had one just up and leave the state without a word. I found out by showing up at his apartment only to find it completely empty save a few rolls of Christmas wrapping paper and some apple sauce in the fridge.

A lot of the time, I think, men don't want to hurt the woman's feelings, so they drag things out, which only hurts her more.

I really am sorry. Like it really sucks. I wish there were some way for me to save those of my gender, but I'm afraid there isn't. We're just doomed to suck. Haha.

I was blind sided... but only because I was "blinded by love"

it's hard tiff - the hardest thing is to not WANT a relationship

unfortunately - that's just what you have to do...

be OPEN to one - without WANTING one....

the WANTING is what eats up your mental and emotional energy....

you can enjoy the idea of having a realtionship (someday) and then get on with your life. The deeper you get into fulfilling your dreams and satisfying yourself - the quicker he'll show up and you'll be annoyed 'cause you'll be so into your thing that you won't want to take the time out for "some guy" who will just be a distraction....

trust me - it almost ALWAYS works this way -

the more you pine... the worse your dates will get...

the happier you make yourself - all kinds of great guys will come a sniffin'

It's a shame. Cuz I'm hardly ever angry. In fact, I encourage people to smile just a little more because it can make the world a better place, I'm convinced. Haha.

Tiff, Fredi's right. I *finally* gave up on the dating game when I met my husband. We had become fast friends, then best friends, so he knew EVERYTHING about me. Then one day he proposed and that's when I realized how in love with him I was. (I know, It's cheesy but true). It'll happen for you Tiff, it really will.

Awww Steven, you rock! Thats very sweet, but I agree whole heartedly. I'm good at being the big sister, cuz lord knows I'm probably older than most of you. But I'm a good listener and once in a while i give some pretty good advice.
