So he is completely oblivious on top of being an ass.. He had a good time?? Of course he did, he got to say and do what he wanted and wound up getting more than the orginal $30 for gas that he was trying for!
on point camera...
diva listen,
there is NO REASON on earth why "facing" this putz should be an issue for you.
HE IS A COMPLETE AND TOTAL ASS!!!!!
not worth another drop of your mental energy.
the money will come back to you 10 fold
his Karma will rise up and kick him in his portly butt soon enough.
be COMPLETELY UNAFFECTED when you see him - it's the best punishment you can give him.
If he asks you anything - your only response is - "I'm in a hurry" way to busy dealing with your own fabulous life.
don't let him know how insulting he is or how crass, stupid, obnoxious and offensive he is... HE WILL FIND THAT OUT THE HARD WAY ON HIS OWN..... you don't owe him that info - that's for your friends
it may seem difficult - but it really isn't - think of him as the pond scum he is and you will see he's not worth the effort.
I am sorry you went through this - but WHAT A LIFE LESSON and WHAT A GREAT SCRIPT!!!!
*hysterical* really....
My condolences truly. I am really sorry for what you had to go through.

"HE IS A COMPLETE AND TOTAL ASS!!!!!"
I'm gonna have to agree with Fredi on that one...
Thanks guys. I will try to keep this all in mind when I see him on Tuesday! Oh man, I wrote the book on Sex and the City, I swear to god. Actually, I suppose I wrote the book on No Sex and the City but that's a whole other issue.
*sigh*
WHY ARE GUYS SO F*CKING STUPID??? They never really grow out of it, do they? I swear I must be a loser magnet.
Welcome to the loser magnet club. You're not the only one.
Sorry to the guys on the board, but they really don't. It's a rare man who treats a woman as she deserves. Most mean well, but they pretty much are all kind of dumb.
Tiff this isn't your fault.. It's not you! You deserve better and will find better.. Just imagine how much more you will appreciate the good guy when he comes along!
Do I should like a superficial bitch if I say that cheap men are a total turn off? It's not that I like material things. It's that I want a guy to treat me like a princess. I don't think that's too much to ask, esp in light of these past 2 dates!
(BTW, so to answer you folks who wonder why I'm on BWW almost every single night, you now know it's to avoid messes like this!)
I am sorry you went through this - but WHAT A LIFE LESSON and WHAT A GREAT SCRIPT!!!!
Haha, true, 'tis true.
I'm sorry, Tiff. On behalf of my gender, I'm sorry for all of the crap you all have to deal with. Haha. Guys are just that, stupid. But we get it right once in a while. Even for you, Tiff. In time, in time...

this is actually a perfect example of what i was talking about earlier...
dating just to get to know people without any emotional investment as to the "future" of the relationship...
you're actually fortunate tiff - in that you don't have to worry about whether this one is "going anywhere"
most times it takes several dates (and possibly a lot of other complications) to find out the guy's a jerk
and you have an arsenal of "unacceptable behavior" to add to your list.
when you DO meet a decent guy - you won't have to guess
and you will always be clear on what you will and will not be happy with.
Well I don't want to be melodramatic in claiming that my biological clock is ticking or anything, but my god!! I'm looking for a serious relationship now, and a little R&R on his part in exchange for a little T&A on my part isn't too much to ask, is it?
I just can't believe I've had such horrible dates! I don't just mean duds or guys with no chemistry. I mean, flat out BAD! (Really, some other time when I'm in better spirits, we'll discuss The Paraplegic Date From Hell somewhere because that one is laughably bad and didn't cost me as much out-of-pocket expense!)
Don't let this jerk ruin it for you.. you can't give up, if you do he's won.. I know look whos calling the kettle black ( I know I hide in dark theatres and on message boards), but I dont want to see you afraid to go out and try.. You never know when the right one will come along.
Exactly.
And don't worry, this stuff doesn't just happen to you girls. Guys can treat guys like total crap also. It's all the same...

See, Steven is a gentleman. Thank you, Steven, for being one of the few excellent men in the world.
What Fredi says is true. You won't be led on and wondering for weeks about whether or not he likes you. I hate long, drawn-out relationships where the girl obsesses about every little thing the guy does. The book also deals with that. You'll find it very useful. Camera is right, also. It's not you!

"most times it takes several dates (and possibly a lot of other complications) to find out the guy's a jerk"
Very true, Fredi. I know this is personal info, but a few folks on here know this anyway. To put it delicately, my last serious relationship ended after he dumped me. On our anniversary. In bed.
Edit: Ironically his name was Steven, also. But thanks for the apologies, Present Steven. Too bad you're not straight! (Where's ckeaton?
)
Tiff honey, men really don't have excuses for most of what they do (especially when it comes to being stupid), but there are rare ones out there and you'll find him and he will treat you like the queen you are.

been there doll
(new years eve - dumped by fiance - one week after apt burns to ashes on Christmas....)
I agree that atleast you found out early on this one. Painfully so, but it's over and you can move on.
*gasp* Holy SH*T, Fredi. THAT sucks. New Years Eve?!? What a BASTARD!! (He must have been waiting to get the presents and the nookie first!)
Ugh.
BTW, I know it's not me in the sense that I don't think I bring out this bad behavior in men. But I'm the only one to blame for attracting ONLY the men like this who're terrible cretins, no?
Exactly.
My ex-boyfriend ignored me for three months because he wanted to break up and didn't have the nerve to tell me. As a result, our last night together was his prom, during which he ignored me because he had "other friends" to hang out with. I dumped him, but I should have dumped him months ago. Men are stupid. They just are.
OMG, that is so horrible, Fredi.

Thanks, Shbrt.
O gosh, that's so tragic! (Both Tiff and Fredi)
Can't they, um, pick a better time or something? Haha.
~Steven
Fredi- are you kidding? Some guy actually had the nerve to do that?
Wow Shbrt, the prom?? *sad headshake* Is it something in the chromosomes? I really can't find any other excuse. Pure socialization doesn't really explain it!
