tiff- you know thats not a good idea.
you should write for a luxury travel magazine.
Ugh, no I'm not dating him. But I'm going out with him and the "foodie group" for this event called Dine Out Vancouver tomorrow. It's similar to NYC's Restaurant Week, where all the swankiest restaurants in Vancouver have these prix fixe menus to sample their fare. I'm so worried about tomorrow because he's loud and rude and gross (really, the disability is the least of my worries), and this is a classy restaurant.
We're going to Lumiere. www.lumiere.ca
I can't find any photos of the restaurant itself. But it's a nice place. And I don't know how to imply that I want him to pipe down and not be an obnoxious ass.
Maybe sit on the other end of the table?
tell him before you go in that he needs to pipe down and not be an obnoxious ass

Not a fan of the movie, but have a good time anyway!
Yeah, I've already sent out a mass email kind of directed at him telling everyone to dress nicely. I'm wearing my black pinstripe blazer, low-cut paisley and pant combo that I had in my avatar once a long time ago.

You're going to Lumiere? I love Rob Feenie! *is jealous*
Do you Allie? Are you a Food Channel freak too? He's going to be on Iron Chef on Feb. 20! (I'm very excited about Lumiere. I'm going to Feenie's Restaurant next Sunday as well!)

The Food Network was basically all I watched during the summer. I don't get the channel here at school, but when I go home, I like to tune in! Maybe you'll get to meet him...
Hey all!

Hey guys... I wanted to stick this in another post somewhere, just because not everyone reads the Adam thread where I posted it first. Considering the (somewhat disturbing) conversations on other random threads, I thought this would be the best place!
Okay, I'm not even going to ATTEMPT a review... I'd never seen it before, so I have nothing to compare it to! I will say that it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I got to the theatre and got my seat and just STARED at the set until it started. The band was already on stage, jamming I guess. Then Dan comes out and people just kept chattering away. I think they thought he was another band member because he had his guitar in hand. Then it started. At first, I was like, "I'm not going to cry. It's not too bad... not to emotional yet." I was alright until the opening bit of the song "Rent". Then I just kind of lost it. The woman beside kept looking over to see if I was okay, too. I don't think I moved for the whole first act. No shifting, nothing. Just loud, LOUD clapping.
It was more than I ever thought to expect (that sounds kind of cheesy)!! The full cast was on, and everyone was just incredible. As I told my friend when she asked how it was: "I... it... there are no words."
After the show, I was SO not missing the stage door. I wasn't sure where it was, but there was a huge sign that said "STAGE DOOR", so I figured I was in the right spot! So I stood there: completely alone. I couldn't believe it! Mind you, it was bitterly cold, so most people just took off, but I wasn't leaving! There was a guy there checking people off as they left and stuff. He kept looking out the door, so I tried to look extra pathetic and cold, thinking maybe he'd let me in. It didn't work. Everyone was SO bundled up that I really couldn't tell who was who, so I just kept telling them how much I enjoyed the job, and said "Wonderful job" a lot...
...Then Andy came out, singing along with his Ipod, guitar in hand. He came right over to me (still alone, by the way) and shook my hand. I was kind of tongue-tied, so the conversation wasn't really the greatest, but he was SO nice. Then a bunch of squeally girls came over for hugs. Then he said, "You didn't get a hug," to which I replied, "Mnuh..." So, I got one! Yay! Then I got a picture. DOUBLE YAY. Then Dan came out, and Andy called him over for pictures as well. YAY! Then they headed for the bus because it was so bitterly cold out. Then I kind of stumbled up to the phone to call a cab, and their bus left.
Okay, so then I went to the bus the next morning to come back to Halifax... then the storm started! So I got stuck in another city for the night! Luckily, I had friends at the university there, so I stayed with them for the night. So I missed three days of classes instead of just two! But I'm back now!
Tiff -
Idina and Melissa (Errico) together is hot....
Oh, go back a bunch of pages....It's a long post with another convo (similar to the history of my u/none) I had with Raggy....
