a lifetime of Banality

I was already contemplating the "pants vs. skirts" issue for a couple interviews next week. Heh. Maybe pants one day, skirt another? Mix it up a bit?

PMS and extremely depressing irrational thinking because of it sucks.

I overslept AGAIN. a lifetime of Banality Granted, I'm way more energized than I would have been if I hadn't gone back to sleep for the extra hour, but... I could've used that hour.

And my mother just called saying she could get me a job that starts at $7.80/hr. At first I thought awesome! Then she told me where...Walmart. I can't work at WAlmart. I am boycotting SHOPPING at Walmart so working there, yeah not an option.

Ouch!

I think I'm losing my voice; but it's kind of okay, like in Friends, when Phoebe had her "sexy cold voice."

I just found out that there's a good chance I'll have jury duty on my birthday. F*CK.

billboard girl, it'll be better than where I was on my birthday, the hospital. See if you can get a postponement.

The thing is, I already got a postponement - I was originally supposed to have jury duty in February but because school was in session then, I pushed it back to May, the week after my finals ended. Unfortunately, I was notified today that they already have enough potential jurors for that week and that I now have to call in on June 9th.

Sorta.

I read the notes.

But I don't understand it.

I was going to go to the review session last night, but I had another final (I also bombed)...

It isn't that I care...but I have a scholarship and a fifth year free riding on it. And if I want to do more advanced work, I need that free fifth year!

BG-Getting out of it is pretty easy (especially since you are young). If you actually get called in, listen to the questions trying to figure out what would make you undesirable and answer them in a way that the lawyers will not want you.

But, my friend was on jury duty for three whole weeks and never went in once.
