Ugh, Elphie, you're the model of everything I should be as a senior. Prepared and someone who doesn't come online until she's done studying!

I'm sort of counting the studying I did last week for the IB test as my AP studying. All I really have to do now is learn photosynthesis and cell respiration, but if I couldn't figure it out then, I don't think it's going to have magically improved.
Elphie, good job. Do you feel ready?
Amber, you have curly hair too? That's nifty/I pity you. What kind of curls?
You mean I'm not supposed to watch a movie, chat on AIM, and download music while I'm trying to study?
Wow, nia, you looked beautiful! Gorgeous dress, and I love the way you did your hair -- simple, yet elegant. It sounds like a successful prom night.
That's impressive, Elphie... I was just sitting here looking over my notes and dreading my genetics final tomorrow.

Mandi, that's my concept of studying...*looks around innocently*
Oh yes...(un)fortunately. My hair actually kind of resemble yours looking at it. It's taken years for me to actually be okay with the realization that the second I attempt to control it, it's all over. Besides, far better to have natural curls than spend almost 2 1/2 hours attempting (not very well) to straighten it. Today was actually a good hair day (meaning the rest of the week will probably suck...ha)
By the way, I envy anyone who can wear brown well...alas, I cannot.

Ugh, I know. I haven't used a brush in months, which weirds people out, but if I brush, my hair poofs. And while the wavy/curliness gets on my nerves, it looks much better than the pulled-out poof. It's like reverse teasing, but with the same result.
It smells like baking bread in my room. Which would normally be a good thing, but I'm more weirded out by the fact that there are no ovens to bake bread in my building, so I'm wondering what is really causing the smell.
I'm as ready as I'm going to be, because I'm done with studying. I'm feeling pretty prepared about most stuff, but like you guys, not with photosynthesis/respiration. Or mammalian body systems. Whatever. I've studied over 10 hours this weekend and I've been to 23 review sessions. I've done my part. My brain hurts and I have no desire to torture it anymore.

I tried to straighten it once. I may as well have just stuck my finger in a light socket; would've been faster. I know what you mean about control. I have to try really hard not to touch it while it's wet, which is nearly impossible for a compulsive fiddle-r like me. But if I can do it, the good hair day is worth it.
skittles, we understand. Non-curly people often don't get why we can't brush, but it's a fact of life.
Better baking bread than what my school cafeteria smells like. (Rotten boiled eggs)
Thanks, siren.
Elphie, you'll be fine and after a certain point, studying isn't productive anyway. No need to kill yourself.

I missed Som putting up her photo?!
My house smells really good right now. Like French toast. mmmmm.
Is the AP biology exam all multiple-choice? I took a dual-enrollment bio course because we didn't have AP... I know that for the other tests it's about half-multiple choice, half-essay/free response problem of some sort, but I don't know how that would work for biology.

Tiffy, honey, they're on the previous page. I look way better than you do in your avatar.
There's an essay section on the AP bio test.
80 multiple choice questions in 100 minutes and 4 22.5 minute essays. UGH.
You've got naturally curly brown hair AND you're skinny?
God, I detest you.
All in one day? Yikes.
My friends have all had straight hair, so they don't understand. I mean, I own a brush...somewhere. Maybe it's at home?
I switched out of AP Bio into honors physics because the double-period scheduling interferred with my other AP classes. I'm really glad I did. I took Bio 121 my freshman year (which would have been the credit that the AP exam covered) and it was so much easier than the hell my friends put themselves through back in high school- and that isn't even counting the exam.
My social psych exam is tomorrow night, but it's not cumulative.

Aww, Tiff, you're so sweet that you might melt into a puddle of sugar at any minute. Like the Wicked Witch of the West.
*quakes* Elphie, I didn't realize that we had four essays. Maybe I do need to look over a few things... *scurries off to study*
I think I'm going to take my pictures down. I'm not entirely comfortable with them being out in the open for forever.

Oh! Interesting. I took the English/history AP exams, which obviously involve essays, and calculus and computer science, which had free response problem solving. Bio seemed like it could sort of go either way.
Application problems/things that make you think are part of what I like about biology. I took and then later was a TA for a rather unusual freshman biology class where everything was discussion-based involving "what if..." kind of problems that required you to synthesize knowledge of concepts. The students were graded on essays and projects that required a lot of imagination, which I thought was great. Some of them hated it just because they were so, so used to the typical format of studying the material and taking a multiple choice test.

7 hours later, and I'm *still* working on my paper. UGH.
I'm still convinced Som is a 47-year-old man and those are just pictures of his neighbour's daughter.
Nia, can I see the picture of you in your prom dress?
Blearghh.
There's a really, really cute boy in my house right now.
What's wrong, dtl?
I'm really tired, and I don't like when people can't make up their minds/ can't come right out and say what they mean.
Elphie, go jump his bones!
