Kids, you'll get through your exams .

I feel like a loser for wanting just a little bit to watch the 7th Heaven series finale tonight, but even though the show sucks now, I used to watch it all the time, and I kind of want to see how it ends.

I'm such a sucker for nostalgia, it sickens me.

Wexy, the question is not whether we get through them, the question is whether they will let us back into school afterwards.
I stand corrected, you are as vapid as they say.

I know I'll get through them. I'd just rather....not have to deal with them?

I think so far this semester, I've done fairly well. I don't want these exams to f*ck that up, but I have a feeling they will. I'm afraid of just getting there and going blank, which never happens to me... and I'm not usually worried about it happening.

Just get through them as best you can, Em. But don't forget to breathe, as Jane Fonda used to say.

thanks, beacs! Cross 'em for everyone else, too. random banality

Normally I don't stress out about exams; I've not yet figured out if that's a good thing or a danger, but I usually remain pretty relaxed. It's just that I'm going through other stuff on top of preparing for exams, and it's something I have no control over and I can't just will it away, so I'm really worried about my feelings on that end clouding my mind too much to really focus when I need to.

Penguin, I thought I saw you yesterday but I was too shy to say something.

Why is it that so many people completely lack the ability to care for longer than a minute and a half? Or why they only start caring once they realize that they're "supposed" to?

For all of my fellow AP bio sufferers:

Was it just me, or did those essays not require four pages?

For anyone who's so severely bored that they're willing to read my banal details:

I finally hung up my Les Mis poster. Seeing Cosette's huge eyes all night does not bother me because I'm too blind to actually see them. Score for failing eyesight.

I need to re-cast the film of Little Women. My choices are sparse!
#4163

You need to do this why?

For a film project. We had to choose a book that's had a movie adaptation and do all sorts of junk with it, including re-casting the movie with actors we'd like to see in it. Unfortunately, I think the casting for the movie was pretty much perfect!

pengy, you'll probably kick ass on the tests. I went through all that anxiety stuff and next year is my zillionth class reunion.

I liked the movie casting, too. Just... scroll through IMDB or something. heh.

I have been! Trying to find good actors under 25 is getting increasinglly difficult.

Lindsay Lohan, duh.

Well, that was my first choice, duh!

Someone on IMDb suggested Hayden Christiansen in the role of Professor Bhaer. *headdesk*

The obvious choice!

Jo?

Maybe. I actually might do that. Mostly, I'm desperately trying to avoid casting Dakota Fanning as Amy. I mean, I don't hate her or anything, but originality is nice! I also need a good Laurie.
#4174

Dakota Fanning is scary.

You should figure out how to get Jake Gyllenhaal in there. Just 'cause.

I love Jakey, but...I just don't want him in that role. Maybe he could play Beth.
