I'm sure it will still be fun.

My dad's so funny to watch "answering" his cellphone. He stares at it while it's ringing, opens it up..stares some more, and then goes "hm.. one missed call". It's great haha.

Aww Lexi, you look so pretty!

My homework makes so little sense to me that it might as well be in another language, and I don't know why the hell I've spent this beautiful afternoon indoors trying to figure it out.

"There was this one time an alarm went off - it was in the middle of '24.' That's just wrong. Everyone knows everyone was watching '24' at that time." --NYU student quoted in the Washington Square News about students ignoring the frequent fire alarms in dorms

I am. Safe and sound. The desk attendant gave me the wrong key twice, but then my roommate finally returned my call and let me in.

I messed up something on my AC, and I was putting it back together, but I breathed in quite a bit of dust while doing it.

One of the best parts of summer, even though it's only spring. What flavor?

We call them Slushies here. We had a kid from Pennsylvania staying with us for some Boy Scout thing and he spent the whole weekend talking about Italian Ice and we had no idea what he was talking about. Finally they got Slushies and we figured it out.

Does anyone know what an AIMTaskManager is
AIMTaskManager1: This is an automated message. You are currently signed in at two locations. Send your password if you would like to sign off the other location.

I don't want to give it my password.

Give it your password, that's fine. It just means, well, what it says -- you're signed on in two locations. Or, it thinks you are.

Or it could just mean that you left AIM on someplace else, but no, it's not a trick. It happens, say, if you have a laptop and you switch internet connections without actually quitting the program.

Really banal:

I got tickets to the Les Mis tour a while back, picking it over Company because I like Les Mis more as a show, despite Company's redeeming factor of Raulyness. However, they're now BOTH supposed to be in New York during the time I'm veryveryveryveryvery tentatively possibly hopefully-not-really-going-to-happen be in NYC too. Now Les Mis is supposed to have a great cast in New York and Company will probably be not as good because of the new stage, so if I go (and there's no way I will, so all of this fretting is for naught, but I can't help it anyway) I would end up seeing the more blah version of Company after having already seen the more blah Les Mis, thus effectively canceling me out of two great shows and leaving me with two ok performances.

And then there's the Chorus Line factor, which will probably be better than anything and thus impossible to get.

And the worst part is, as I already said, I won't even ACTUALLY get to go to NYC to see anything next fall, because I know that it won't work out, but the mother keeps toying with the idea anyway, so this is taking over my brain.

//end Extrordinary Banality.

Hm..that's a tough decision. I'd go with Company since you saw Les Mis. Maybe if there's some sort of lotto or whatever you could attempt it for the show you decide not to see.

IF- and ok, not even if- but on the trip I won't actually be going on, I'd hypothetically only be there for like two days, so there's not a lot of time for lotteries and whatnot. I probably would do Company if I could go, which I can't, but still- AACK.

*whooshy sigh*

I take solace in knowing that Piazza will be on TV for free in June. No tough decisions or money required, finally.

ETA- They haven't cast it yet, but rumor has it that they want the best of the best for the anniversary.
