Banal is boringly brilliant

I just wandered around aimlessly for 45 minutes, hoping it would make me feel less blah. Unfortunately, it had the opposite effect, but I did manage to do something I think I need to do in order to make things right with my roommate after the fight we had last night.
"There was this one time an alarm went off - it was in the middle of '24.' That's just wrong. Everyone knows everyone was watching '24' at that time." --NYU student quoted in the Washington Square News about students ignoring the frequent fire alarms in dorms

I have so much work to do and I'm really tired. I just took a 30 minute power nap, but all it made me do is want to go back to sleep. I think I might take a shower. Maybe that'll help.

Have you guys noticed that most of the people who post on the main board are new people? I don't actually go over there that often anymore.

It's all the same stuff over and over and over again.

I read the main board and post on this thread. That's about it.

Atrias, what's your new avatar?

My typing is a mess because my hands are trembling from that stupid allergy medication. grrrr.

Ugh, bad allergies!

My avatar's Tristan and Isolde. Or Iseult, as I first learned to spell it.

I'm over-procrastinating.

I'm thinking about using an avatar again. Any ideas? What's nice and non-threatening?

I don't know, I'm pretty threatened by hearts and tie-dye.

The star.... galaxy... thing from when you first joined. I like that one. (PS, maybe the person wouldn't bother you if she did not feel provoked.)

Not ALL soda, but flat Sprite is kind of good; only when it's just in its first day or so of flatness, though. After a little while, it tastes awful.

You don't have to be a hippie to enjoy tie-dye.

nia, please accept PM's, because I have a very, very short reply to what you sent me, but it does not belong on the boards.

It rather reminds me of ET. In a good way, I like ET.

Emcee, my email address still works.

It's a little section of an drawing/painting I did in art class. It's hard to explain what the rest of it looks like, but it involves a bonsai tree, a large hand and a lot more bubbles. It's sort of abstract, but I think it came out alright.

Fine, I e-mailed you; end of discussion.

I think I'm allergic to bonsai trees, which makes me a little sad.

It looks three dimensional. *squint*

I just rubbed my eye and got moisturizer in it. A tissue would've been smart.

How did it get to be 7:20? I can't get my head off the desk.

I know, and I want to leave my house but I'm not sure if I'm allowed since my parents are at a wedding. My friend Erin and I are going to have a friends marathon Banal is boringly brilliant.
