The performance hall didn't have any emergency lights, but the hall did. Sorry for the disappointment.
Okay, my next-door neighbor, who somehow has less alcohol tolerance than I do, lit candles all over her room, which was a bit alarming.
I'm wearing a robe with Cherrys on it!
Are they all intact?

Did you use flavored vodka, Plum? A white russian with vanilla vodka is heaven.
Broadway Legend Joined: 3/4/04
Nah, it was just...vodka vodka. We're college students. There are those among us who would drink rubbing alcohol.
Well, my ear piercings didn't need ALL of it...

Ah, I understand. I went out for a friend's birthday last night and spent a small fortune on drinks.
It's ridiculous. At $7-$10 for a cocktail, and several per person, it adds up!

I don't know why I expect alcohol to cost what it should have cost in the 30s or whatever, but I almost choked the first time I paid eight smackers for a cosmo.

I. Have. No. Heat.
Again.
I wish I had a thermometer to record my room temps. At the point when I'm shivering violently unless I wear a comforter cape at all times I need a space heater or something.
! and ? - some of the more useful punctuation tools in our language.
And in an online arena,
! = I'm at a slightly-above-average level of excitement ("I'm finally having turkey for dinner!")
!! = I really am excited ("I can't wait to finally meet you!!")
!!! = This is the biggest shock I've had in a long time ("Cheney shot a guy in the face!!!")
!!!! to !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! = I'm experiencing temporary paralysis and can't move my fingers away from the Shift and 1 keys
? = This is a question ("How are you?")
?? = This is something I'm quite curious about and would like an answer to! ("Did you know Les Mis is being revived??")
??? = Very confused and probably shocked (also shown with any combination of '?!?!') - ("They voted him as president AGAIN???")
???? to ??????????????????? = Now the right-hand pinkie and ring finger are paralyzed
According to that, several BWWers are paralyzed from the fingers down.
I'm chewing gum, sitting at the computer and listening to Aida.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <-------that's the paralysis
It's hot out! (No paralysis for me, thank you.)
I am sick and am attempting to find a ride to the doctor. I have an extremely sore throat with a slight cough with a tiny bit of plegm. My guess is probably either a sinus infection or maybe strep, but I don't remember having a cough the last time I had strep. Anyway the cold air stings when I go outside so I will hopefully find a ride so I don't have to walk.

I'm sorry son of a gunn! I hope things are getting better for you. If it makes you feel better, I think I've got a urinary tract infection. Lovely.

Woohoo! Disease sharing time! This truly is a great congruence of place and subject matter.
I'm getting some kind of chest congestion. I make the most interesting rasping noises when I breath.

I didn't get into the university i really wanted, so now wether I get into others or not I am seriously coonsidering taking (yet another) victory lap and trying again next year.

Oh, Matters, I'm really sorry! That's really disappointing. But, I know this'll sound trite, something good is probably bound to come along at any moment that will help you take your mind off of this.
Yay, Plum, diseases! I also had a horrible cough for a really long time and also had breathing problems. I thought it was asthma, but my doctor said it is acid reflux. How weird is that? I'm so glad to have insurance now! Whee! I love you Blue Cross/Blue Shield!
Sorry to hear that, Matters. I truly empathize. I went through that last fall - now my one year victory lap is over and I'm waiting to hear back again this year!
Yes, all of the cherries are intact.
I'm only fourteen.
So I go through hell this morning and don't go to class or work and now I don't feel as bad. I still have a lot of pressure in my head, but not much phlegm is coming out yet and I have taken Mucinex. (It's that awful green color too!) I'm pretty sure at this point that it is a sinus infection, but I fell asleep after my initial post and the health center was closed by the time I woke up which means no antibiotics until tomorrow. At least I don't have any classes tomorrow until 2 PM as our theatre department is having its faculty retreat.

I hope you're feeling a little better today, s_o_a_g! I've been drinking a lot of cranberry juice and I think that's helping a lot. Maybe I can even cancel my appt for Thursday. Whoopee!
