That hat looks like it walked right out of the Project Runway challenge this past season that revolved around what's-his-face's hats that everybody kept exclaiming over and over on how fabulous the hats were. Sometimes I don't understand "high" fashion.

Oh, the hat is terrific and gives out a real sense of occasion.

Its a wedding. Nobody is sick. Nobody is dead. Its a wedding. It is a perfect time to be more than a little silly. Every family has a few eccentrics who have a blast at a joyous celebration.

In my own family, that would be me.

My favorite moment was during the ceremony when the groom's grandmother raised her head during a solemn prayer and scoped out what was happening at the altar. Everyone, and I mean everyone else was rapt in prayer, but not this Boss Lady, no sirree Bob. I think she was feeling a bit territorial and wanted to be sure everything was going according to Hoyle. It is her house after all.

Princess Catherine is one cool customer. I think she's a lot brighter than most of her in-laws.

I wonder how many watched it in the USA?

here in the UK it was a fun day, 10am was drinks with friends watching the wedding on TV drinking champers lol. We all nearly spat our drinks out when we saw Princess Beatrices hat, she has always been a bit of walking disaster though (And her sister looked no better). We then headed down to Canal Street, the huge gay village here in Manchester and partied with 1000s of gay men and women (and watched the fun event 'My Big Fat Gay Gypsy Royal Wedding' that was brilliant). Not a huge fan of the royals but dont mind them, it was just happy to see those 2 so clearly in love ebjoy their big day.

However everyone here seems to be saying how Kate's sister nearly upstaged her......she is stunning!

Jordan, It was funny seeing the Queen snub Camilla, though we see that so much now we are getting used to it lol
