"Gotham, Bergen can't act."
No, but she's so beautiful so who cares?
"In 'At Liberty', one of Stritch's stories is about a production of the women in which she shared the stage with Gloria Swanson, Marge Champion, and others. Seemed like their cattiness extended well beyond the stage."
I have a problem with the way Stritch presents this story. She makes herself out to be the victim. Yet she freely admits that she would drink before the show started and at intermission. I wonder how much was cattiness and how much was concern over Stritch's drinking.
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.
