I think what's left to be seen is whether Rubio's attacks on Trump will actually benefit Rubio or Cruz. If the base of Trump's support is vehemently anti-establishment, I'd have to think that any voters Trump loses - if he DOES lose any support before Super Tuesday at this stage - are going to Cruz. They're definitely not going to Kasich or Carson.
Honestly as vile as Trump's racist, xenophobic and sexist rhetoric is, the truth is he's far less of an ideologue than Cruz. The thought of Cruz using his Princeton debate skills to convince Americans that he isn't bat**** crazy is far scarier to me than Drunk Uncle Trump.
I've got debate/town hall fatigue already. I can't wait to see Hillary take on whichever buffoon the GOP picks. That is going to be appointment tv.

Cruz is a zealot, Trump is a charlatan. The winner of last night's debate was Hillary Clinton. I thought Cruz and Rubio had been playing nice in hopes for the VP slot with Trump, but that doesn't seem like the case anymore. It's noteworthy that Christie never really went after Trump; could he be in line for VP?

It's something they should have been doing 6 months ago and is almost certainly gonna be fruitless now, but still.

Nope. And as much as I loathe Christie, he fits well into the attack-dog role of a VP on the campaign trail. As much as I think Julian Castro is an ideal VP choice for Clinton, the idea of Warren debating Christie is almost too good.

Can you just imagine a Trump/Christie administration? This is earth shatteringly scary and actually could happen!
Just think, they could put on the clown make-up on November 8th...and then put a bouncy house in the backyard of the White House..and if anyone p!sses them off, Christie can close down the 14th Street Bridge!

I don't know why you guys are surprised that Trump may win this, you are a country that voted twice for the Bush family ( well once ) , still scared that a woman in the top office will prove that the earth may be flat. The only thing I hat Trump has ever done that was worth while, was attack Bush Jr on the mistakes and lies the other two made,for that alone you have to thank him. But not alone is not worth voting for him!
Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist.

The Christie endorsement will mean next to nothing, in either the primaries or the general election. However, it did distract the media from the recent GOP debate, in which Rubio and Cruz finally went after Trump. There is an arsenal with which Trump can be destroyed, and it's astounding that no one used it until it was (probably) too late to deny him the nomination. I doubt the DNC and the Clinton campaign will make the same mistake.

Meanwhile in NJ, one of the last true "moderate" Republicans, former governor Christie Whitman (a pro-choice, pro-marriage equality, gun control advocate who recognizes that climate change is real) has all but endorsed Hillary. While she'll Lsays have the stain on her record of being the one who first dipped into the pension fund to balance the budget, which has led to the mess NJ is in now (the reason I left the state), she was always a classy, gracious woman. It's a shame her party has left her behind and is run by wingnuts now.
