re: Things Britney Spears Should Know Before Coming to Broadway

I can almost guarentee you this. If she does get cast, there is no way she will do more than 6 shows a week. I doubt we will see her do matinees and I wouldn't be surprised if she got out of tuesdays or something of that nature. What she should know before coming to broadway?

Times Square is acctually located at 125th street and if the signs say Harlem, don't worry honey it's really Times Square.

Charity must never ever ever say Y'all.

If the going gets tough and she gets horrid reviews, she can't bring Madonna up on the stage for a makeout session. It won't fix her problems. Broadway actors and actresses actually have to schlup it.

I'll only say this for Britney. She is a talented dancer.
If it's not just crap stunt casting and she actually wants to train, study, work hard and is actually interested in stretching herself, more power to her.
Fortunately, people who don't want to see the show don't have to go (like me).
Just as long as that poor excuse for a human that is her husband isn't allowed anywhere near that stage...

bway - this is Charity. Britney is 23!!!!!!!

If the Weisslers want her starpower so badly, they need to find something she's right for. I'm sure she'd work hard - she's more than proven herself a hard worker over the years. But she's WRONG FOR CHARITY.

I believe she's a little too pregnant. re: Things Britney Spears Should Know Before Coming to Broadway

My vote would be for Karen Ziemba, but hell, what do I know from talent anyway?

Not that I want this, but I thought the prevailing rumor was the Melanie Griffith was taking over.

Well, she was in Ruthless on Broadway as a kid, right? I'm sure she's not COMPLETELY ignorant as to what she'd be getting into.

I say let Christina's understudy, Dylis Croman, take over the role. I did a show with her - she's fantastic.

She should know that people will throw tomatays at her during curtain call.

She should know that she doesn't deserve to be on a Broadway stage.

re: Things Britney Spears Should Know Before Coming to Broadway

She should know that on Broadway she may have to sing and dance at the same time... I remember her admitting to singing with a back up track or whatever they are called (the Ashlee Simpson thing) in some of her concerts because she got too out of breath from dancing that she couldn't sing strong enough...
Also, i ditto everything bwaysinger said...

I don't think the choreography they have while the actors are singing are as intense as the choreography she would do in her concerts.

She should know that being on Broadway should not be a family affair (who the hell is going to watch that child if she and Kevin are gone all day? then again, this might be a good idea for the baby...)

She should also know that double-stick tape is not enough to keep you into a dress like this on stage.

I don't know if you've heard, but there are lots of families where both parents work! Crazy, eh?
