Before I post the actual photo, let me tell you the back story.
I was at my mother's in Florida last July. It was raining heavily so I went out back to take pictures. I was focusing on a tree across a narrow canal behind my mother's house. I shot the photo because I liked the tree.
Well, I didn't examine that photo until last week. I'm almost ready to go to a paranormal organization with it!!! I swear, I did NOTHING to this photo. No photoshopping whatsoever. The only thing I did is enlarge it so you can see this "THING" that is in front of the tree on the left.
What is it? I'm so frightened of it that I could hardly post it here.

Posted: 11/16/08 at 3:45pmI hardly think it is "paranormal". Probably a bear or a panther (they have those in Florida, don't they?) It could even be a burned tree limb or a large bird flying by...it is just too hard to tell, but I don't think it is Bigfoot or Blackbeard's ghost!

After watching the video that Romantico linked, I'm positive I have something valuable here, so I've removed it from the thread, although I've already printed my trademark on it.

There always seems to be some kind of embarrassment when dealing with the unexplained. I never saw it or felt it.I hear about stuff like this all the time. I have an interest in the topic,so that could be why. Still, I think you should research it. Type in skunk ape on you tube and you will be amazed at the number of sightings in Florida. Same with Google. I believe this could be what you saw. Only you know what it could have been and what it could not have been.Regardless, go to

I have now just contacted a skunk ape organization in Florida. We'll see.
. I swear, this is so frightening. I now understand when people have these "sightings" and no one believes them. This has actually happened. I have the proof.
