Here's how I see it and i probably have the best view of it, and have been studying it.
Plus, we can all look at the same thing and see something different.
I see the face turned to one side which supports my theory about the blob on the top left being the shoulder, as if the thing is trying to maneuver its way out from inside the tree. I know it's inside the tree because along the bottom, there is a scalloped edge of all the small leaves which are in front of the thing.
I wish this were just a plastic bag, but it's so clear to me that it isn't, that I'm frightened by it.

I truly can't figure out what it is, Jane!
But I have to believe it's a bird or a rare black panther or something...

A few people thought it was a bird, but I don't see any indication of that. It's a pretty burly and muscular thing.
I can't stop thinking about it and what to do.
