Why do you all take this so seriously? You do realize that the main purpose of BWW.com is to provide information and features about BROADWAY, right? They sell advertising to pay for running the site and hopefully make a profit.

If you are tired of the ads and the technical problems you are encountering, you might consider STARTING YOUR OWN SITE.
There are plenty of ways to get a message board going, Yahoo Groups, perhaps?
So stop your bellyaching and if the site goes down, PICK UP A BOOK OR A NEWSPAPER AND STOP ACTING AS IF YOU ARE ENTITLED TO THIS BOARD.

in a sense, this site is not free, but then no one is. we are salves to the ownership society that keeps us down and which here is represented by rob, craig and to a lesser extent by paljoey in his role as demigod and phyllis in her role as town tramp. we are paying their salaries with our membership fees, and so we are entitled to not only a say in whether or not the board is run well but a hand in how the board itself is run.
without the ot board there would be significantly fewer posters since everyone knows that the true meaning of broadwayworld is merely a place to argue politics and plan for the khalifah. and less posters to the ot board means significantly less traffic, meaning less money for bww and less need for colleen lee to ear her naughty traffic cop outfit and that just makes everyone cry.
don't think. just don't think. see because the money is coming out of your pocket it means that you own bww and are paying the salaries of the fat-cat overlords of bww who sip their martinis and light their blunts with one hundred dollar bills and use twenties as toilet paper as they laugh and arbitrarily delete posts and threads and taunt the glbt community and defend the caliphate.
so this is your place and they can't stop you from taking over, see? we f*cking own it, man!
