Devastating news. Barb was one of those people about whom you couldn't find a negative thing to say. She and Dave were among the first BWW folks I had dinner with back in the day. I thought then, and still do, that their marriage was special...after decades together, they seemed still to be very much in love.

I hope everyone in barb's family can gain a little comfort knowing how much she cherished them and how much it meant to her to have you there with her.

She was a stand-out friend, the best role model for a parent I can think of, and a lovely human being. The world is a darker place without her.

Sending warm thoughts and heartfelt prayers to her, her family, her friends and the entire BWW community.

I am just heartbroken. Mom was one of the truly good ones and gave our BBW family a true feeling of community. I regret that I never had the opportunity to meet her face to face or tell her what she means to me. I send my deepest love to her family and hope they take comfort in knowing that your "Mom" touched so many people through this message board to the extent that she was OUR "MOM",too.

Dammit!! I opened up this thread to get an update on mominator's condition only to find out she's gone!! This truly breaks my heart. She was always such a sweet presence. She lived up to her moniker...and I always remember how she loved cookies...my condolences go out to her family and loved ones whose lives she made brighter by her presence and love.

I only met mom in person once-but I knew just from that meeting that she was a lovely, sweet and warm person. So sorry. RIP.

So sorry to hear about this... I may not post as much as I used to, but I keep visiting and her posts were always kind, wonderful and heartwarming, from the old days when there were few of us who knew each other, till now. May she rest in peace, we lost a wonderful human being but Heaven earned a TRUE Angel !

Seeing friends from long-ago return to post on this thread is a beautiful and loving tribute to someone who brought so much happiness to so many.

She was much loved and will be dearly missed.
